Looks like the Pres Trump may have been talking about this story in his recent press conference.

With an average of 3 police officers handing in the resignation a day, this alarming trend could mean over 1000 officers quitting this year.

The Scandinavian country is facing an existential crisis with on average three police officers handing in their resignations a day.

If the alarming trend continues, and police officers continue to resign more than 1,000 officers will have quit the service by New Years.

There are now more than 50 "no GO zones" in the country and police have admitted they have reached the breaking point.

www.express.co.uk...
But police have now admitted the force has reached breaching point as more than 50 areas in the country have now been placed on a “no-go zone” list.

In February a report from Sweden's National Criminal Investigation Service announced there were 52 areas where officers would not cope with the levels of crime being committed.

Sex assaults, drug dealing and children carrying weapons were just some of the incidents mentioned in the report.

The Police Association admitted it fears the public will loose faith in the force and it's ability to protect them. The police union echoes the National Police commissioner Dan Eliasson who gave a warning in February and said he needed 4,100 more officers and specialists to reestablish law and order in Sweden.

The Police Association admitted it fears the public will lose faith in the force and their ability to protect citizens if the situation is not resolved. The union’s call for more resources echoes National Police Commissioner Dan Eliasson’s February warning, where he said he needed a further 4,100 officers and specialist staff to reestablish law and order in Sweden.

Exaggerate claims to a ridiculous degree with a possible kernel of truth at the center. Usually using some form of logical fallacy. Likely a slippery slope fallacy.

For instance. The term "No-Go Zone" is political buzzword (sensationalism) for "ghetto". We have them here in the states and while troublesome don't tear your country apart.

Um, the police commish is asking for 4,100 new police officers and 3 are quitting every day.

At what point is it time for worry?

Needing personnel doesn't mean your "country is on the brink". That is the sensationalism that I am referring to.

I have been following the ongoing immigrant problem in Sweden for about maybe six months now. This problem is real over there. There was even a translation from a police official on one of the news articles claiming they can't do anything to these refugees and that if they were citizens they would have been put in jail. The Finns are laughing at the Swedish government for taking all those refugees. Do the research and you will find there is a major problem in the streets of Sweden, but not in the capital city, they used good vetting techniques for those in their capital aparantly. Weed out the bad ones and send them elsewhere

OK, yes let's hire more police because everything is going good. They are cheap and tax money is easy to come by.

And 3 police officers are resigning every day because everything is fine.

Ok. So what do you want me to do? Go storm over to Sweden and demand they hire more police? It's not even my country. So it's not even my business to begin with. If they have trouble policing their ghettos, they need to figure it out on their own. I, however, am not going to let anti-muslim forces use their policing inadequacies as a tool to further anti-muslim/anti-refugee sentiment though.

This should be all over the news. If a government fails to protect his own citizens they are held accountable for every crime that got commited. We let them in by the thousands and unvetted and now look who pays the price. Where are all the clebrities who spouted it's inhumanitarian and the poor refugees but failed to mention they aren't welcome in there mansions? This is complete out of control.

This is sheer madness and beyond stupid. No country was prepared for this and the governments have no idea how to handle the situation. Germany is already paying refugees to leave the country and to rebuild their own. Why is nobody protesting this? Women got on the streets becaue of the fear of losing rights they already had and weren't never in jeopardy to begin with but if something really important comes along they just say nah i don't want to sound racist. And no i'm not advocating to deport all refugees but the criminals have to go.

Maybe not talk so much BS.

Because you are, like I said, an apologist who refuses to face reality.

You hit the nail on the head here. The left and right thinking on ATS and in the real world are tearing everything apart.

People feel their "side" can do no wrong.

It's disgusting for anyone to do that with any "side".

I understand there was no mention in the post of political affiliation but I've been here long enough to know better who's who here.

This all boils down to globalization with incompatible groups of people. This isn't going to work until everyone is on the same level of morality/intelligence.

Either rise up the lowers, drag down the uppers or kill off the incompatibles. So basically no way to solve the problem.

I guess the easiest thing to do is to just go back to segregation.
