They actually got some really....unexpected results. People living in the building tended to be healthier than in surrounding areas,if that's the study I'm thinking of.

Where would I find the study?

Sounds fascinating...and I seem to vaguely recall reading about this some years ago, in like Scientific American...or some such periodical.

July10. That's bizarre. That's the day Seth Rich was murdered. And this is the call sign.

Hmm.

I posted the below on another site but thought it would be good to share here too concerning this particular incident :

Thay are saying (in the few MSM outlets here in France (but NOT on the TV as I am sure that they think this will cause panic*)) that this pollution seems to have emanated from the East of Europe... Highest levels were detected in Warsaw in Poland.

*Especially after the Chernobyl incident when Pierre Pellerin who was former head of the state-run French body monitoring radiation said that the radioactive cloud stopped at the French border...

French authorities deliberately suppressed information about the spread of radioactive fallout from the May 1986 Chernobyl disaster over France, according to details of an experts' report leaked Thursday.

www.expatica.com...

Then justice was served (unfortunately not for those who suffered ill health or who have died however...) :

The former head of the state-run French body monitoring radiation was charged Wednesday with "aggravated deceit" over the alleged cover-up of the effects of the May 1986 Chernobyl disaster on France.

www.spacedaily.com...

The IRSN are saying that at this level of contamination there should be no consequences on public health here in France.

However, the IRSN is the leading competent entity along with the Ring of 5 when it comes to dedection of trace levels here in France and Europe and I would put most of my trust in them, I always look at their site after hearing anything about nuclear incidents in France on the MSM.

It would be interesting to see if some meteorologist types here on ATS could do some research and extrapolate from that data a posssible release zone.

Way beyond my capabilities unfortunately due to a connection comparable to a dial up modem and a lack of knowledge in such things.

I haven't got any data on this at all which might mean they're not sure yet or it's touchy.

Read my post a bit further up.

For the moment results are showing Warsaw in Poland as haing the highest levels.

You can find some interesting information in the last two links I provided.

Yeah I was wondering about the "sensitivity" of such an incident. The fact they have a US snooper would indicate it's not a Western side problem but probably more of a Russian incident.

Pure speculation of course. I am however moderately confident with my initial response to it being a sub or other soviet era rustbucket that wasn't properly decommissioned.

Whatever it may be hopefully they can get a cap on it before it becomes something worse.

ETA: Looking forward to seeing what you, Zaph and others can discover on this one. Good to know we have such adept people here.
