It's been a long time. I rarely post on ATS anymore. I am a little surprised that I am on page 6 of this post and none of the this threads posters mentioned or seems to be aware of a single "conspiracy" thing regarding Antarctica, Antarctica is one of the biggest in vogue topics right now amongst conspiracy theorist. There is currently more chatter right now than Pizzagate. Slightly alarmed over this I just logged in from retirement. Please don't take this as condescending , it is not meant that way. Of course I am no expert and can only relay the chatter I have encountered on my reading binges. So I simply dropped by to leave you some nuggets to Google if you are interested.

1.) Very old accounts of pilots claim to have seen a huge opening to inner earth or base in Antarctica.

2. Antarctica was allegedly colonized by the Germans during Hitler's war. They were allegedly looking for the original Aryan race who resided in the inner earth and who could have very well been aliens. Some rumors have it that they discovered old alien technology resulting in Antarctica German underground bases of flying disks.

3.) This is tied by many theorist to the Germans bell technology

4.) Chatter states after the war around half the criminal German scientists were brought to the U.S. Under project Paperclip while the other half escaped to Brazil and the Nazi base in Antarctica.

5.) Allegedly, the Kecksburg incident was a direct result of project paperclip and none other than a prototype of the German bell conceived by Antarctica technology.

6.) After the war America sent a fleet to locate the Germans or rumored Alien Bases known as Project High Jump, Led by Richard E Byrd. Rumor has it they fled back to the states after incurring huge losses, claiming they were attacked by ships flying out of the ocean.

Let's fast forward to the present

7.) Rumor has it every base in Antarctica at present is truly there for only one reason, to get a piece of ancient alien history pie.

8.) It is alleged an entire content worth of an ancient civilization has been found flash frozen indicating a pole shift or swift crustal movement. Allegedly found were pyramids, "other" humanoid inhabitants , flash frozen animals and fauna, UFOs and bases.

9.) Allegedly The giant hole or entrance to underground Antarctica was viewable on Google Earth. It has since been airbrushed over. However old screen captures may be found. A huge UFO also falls under these circumstances. This UFO is to grand and detailed in my opinion is fake, if you can find it.

10.) Just browse the web for items currently viewable on Google Earth. The most interesting I have found are the staircase, pyramids, Fort or castle, UFO under an ice ledge, flight bay opening and under water UFO or Base.

11.) Many important people have visited Antarctica recently.
Obama & John Kerry - When did they visit? Why is one of these dates very strange?
Buzz Aldran - Why he cut his visit short? What did he twitter only to be removed?
The Pope - Who met him there? Why is it significant ? What did the Pope do while there? What did the Pope remark about Antarctica?
Who else has visited Antarctica?

12.) Some rumors state discloser is fourth coming. Some say it will be sanitized with very little truth disclosed. Some say it will be grossly exaggerated in an attempt to control the human population.

There are so many more interesting tidbits, but that will take all night. The web woven for Antarctica is vast.

I think that's the CBS "cover story".

Haven't seen a peep from CNN.

Could be all the climate change events that are happening re: ice shelves breaking off, etc.

I think the story is bigger than climate change. I think the ice melts may have uncovered something extraordinary and which can't be kept secret any longer.

As to what that may be, who knows...

Actually, record ice sheet growth doesn't prove anything about global warming. What it prices is that there's record ice-sheet growths in Antarctica.

As for the premise of the OP, I'm thinking it will be climate related. Probably with some stupid spin on the story.

Why can't we just focus on our climate extremism? I think it's becoming far more of a problem than a couple degrees of global temp. I also, don't care about the cause (s) of climate change. I just want to know how we're going to deal with it.

I believe it is coming up on the anniversary of Patriarch Kirill's Ancient Ritual Performance over the Apocalyptic Weapon The Ark of Gabriel, which resulted subsequent to the finding of the Ark, retrieval of the Ark, some soldier's deaths and other deaths, as in the "Crane Accident" that caused the deaths of 107 worshipers at Makkah's Grand Mosque in Mecca.
This lead to a once in 970 years visit by the Pope to Moscow with Patriarch Kirill and then a trip to Antarctica with Russian Escorts via Saudi Arabia to receive the item to be delivered to Antarctica.

It's like Operations High Jump and Deep Freeze 2.0, and Operation Fish Bowl 2.0 Turbo and other Operations within Project Dominic 2.0. But this Ark is purported to be a weapon of such unimaginable destruction potential that if operational, is of such biblical, historical and contemporary significance, an annual NEWS worthy celebration or an invite to report on new testing seems plausible.

Or perhaps they are going to Antarctica to film Blood Falls.

I think the ice based explanations are correct only up to a point.

This because I think there is something more odd or perhaps even sinister going on down there. Only recently I saw a post on this site about one of the astronauts making a cryptic type "this is pure evil' post on twitter after being in the Antarctic attending a meeting of what seemed to the 1% of the 0.5%.

A couple of years ago i saw a photo on this site which showed what appeared to be two suns. the photo was taken back from but close to a base on stilts which i assume was to give the appearance of two suns some size perspective.

Further back than that I read an article about somebody visiting an encampment of aliens where it seemed, were mining some mineral which is extremely rear on this planet. Before that there was the expeditionary milit-tree trip to the Antarctic by Admiral Byrd which was a dismal failure and he was forced to abort the expedition and return home due the losses of men and ship he suffered at what was describes as far superior technology.

So now lets forget the alien stuff but the more recent events seem to enough make one wonder.

For me, I will expect a lot on climate change but I will continue wondering if there is something more than that too.

They will chip off a chunk of ice, then zoom in close with a FAKE scale bar, showing it to be hundreds of miles across and headed straight for the White House, with a big red banner: "Even Mother Nature wants Trump out of Washington!"

To be fair, the giant ice sheets that are calving are not yet in the ocean. They are on land but they will be in the ocean once they shear off and slide in.

And that will affect sea height. How much? Who knows...

But I think there's more to this than climate science.

We'll see shortly I hope.
