I have always been curious has to why i get this feeling sometimes that i control, it's hard to explain how i force it through my body, but it feels relaxin, and it's a very sensitive feeling, it calms my muscles, is this something special, or does everyone have this ability? or does anyone know what i mean? sometimes it's very intense.

I am not sure what your trying to describe here?
It sounds like the physicall reaction to meditation or something? It could also be your brain bringing into your body the white light of healing and enlightenment? Maybe your brain just KNOWS when your in need of this and does it for you autopilot....instead of you having to seek it through meditation....

Maybe you should give more details on the exact nature of this feeling?

I agree with Rivergoddess, in order to make an acurate assumption/theory on what it is, we will need more information.
Best wishes,

epiphany, i might know what mean. Its some kind of energy you activate for around 5 or 6 seconds followed by a feeling of being very tired. At least thats what im making of the feeling i think is similair to yours. It kinda burns my muscles yet it is very relaxing, but very very hard for me to keep this feeling for more than say 7 seconds.

Does this sound like what you are feeling, because you say "to why i get this feeling sometimes", does this means you cant activate it?

ok, well let's see, i don't meditate often, that's why i posted this because i'm not sure what this feeling is for............ i'm gonna use an example...... ok. i'm laying in my bed at night, feeling restless, rolling around... so i try to clear my mind, think about nothing, ... and force this feeling to come about, i thought maybe someone would know what i mean but i guess not.

What we need to know is how the feelings 'feel'. I can control my muscles through thought including relaxing them, but have no way of knowing if it is the same sensation, as it was not describved.

Well, than at least your not the only one
But if its a rare ability im not so sure of it as well, but i cant imagine everyone doing it all the time, cause i never heard anyone of this 'ability' before in my life. Oh and i found out about it two years ago i think.

i don't mean to get all sexual here, but it's similar to an orgasm, you know, that relaxing feeling.

lol, not quite the same feeling I get, but I can see why it might leave you tired.

That's interesting. Do you feel any sort of 'lightness'? Or any non-sexual vibrations or tingling on you skin? When your muscles relax, do they 'jerk', or is it more of a gentle relaxation?

Just trying to compare with what I can do.

Then im afraid were not talking about the same feeling here, its quite painfull for me te keep the feeling up after about 6-7 seconds...

But i do get the impression that i can lets say 'train' this ability to keep it up longer. Only problem is: what the hell is it good for?????

I have the ability to activate either some type of chemical in my brain like endorphins, or simply activate some pleasure nerves without any other stimulus other than thought. It feels sort of like an orgasm or sneeze, but slightly different in that it travels from my head down to my toes in a wave-like feeling. I sincerely doubt its something spiritual. Most likely you and I have just simply found a method of triggering a body pleasure center without requiring physical stimulus. Its odd, but I can actually "feel" this area in my brain which allows me to trigger it.

I call this grounding. Personaly, I always though everyone could do all these things. Turns out, either I was wrong, or most people just aren't aware of it.
Start working with it!

Does it give you goosebumps and make you feel like your skin is tingling as it takes over?

I've experienced something like that...I revel in it...no,nothing sexual about it, but I do have the feeling of weightlessness as well as a distinct shrinking sensation...

It's the shrinking feeling I really like...I try to sustain it as long as I can.

I used to think everyone could do this, until I showed a few of my friends what happens when I crack my neck through will. They totally freaked out, and now I do my 'work' at home.

As for the wave-like relaxation from the top of your head, I can do that too, only I use visualization. I 'see' a rain falling on my head, and allow it to wash away the tension.

Masqua, it sounds like you are very close to an OBE.....

Do you happen to know exactly(or not exactly) why to start working with it? Do you know how/were/why to use it? Just askin...

@epiphany: like squeezing your teeth?

The more you are aware and able to feel these things, the more able you are to precieve other things as well. The more you work with it, the better you begin to understand it and are able to tell when something is about to take place or be able to take yourself to that state at will.
Right now, it sounds like a great relaxation technique for you (the same way I started with the healing :-)
Use it before bed and as you drift into sleep and be intending to keep yourslef in a relaxed open state while sleeping, also intend to remember the sdreams' you have.
If you can do this without prep (without stopping and getting quiet etc), do it throughtout your day when you get upset, stressed, have a headache.
Say you have a headache. As the energy is felt leaving your body, intend the pain to go with it. You'll be amazed at what you can do with this.
Pain relief, bp up or down, heart rate up or down, cramps gone - you name it!
Call this the first baby step to the world of precieving what others call the paranormal.

Just the physical changes you can affect in your body are well worth working with. I can sustain a very high heart rate simply by running a marathon in my mind, with very little effort at this point. An experiment in metabolism I'm messing with.

Another neat thing that can be done is with weight training. If while training you continue to perceive the weight as twice as much, you will see a significant increase in mass. I've also used the same methods to reduces swelling in a sprained ankle, among other things.

Quite literally, you can do anything once you set your mind to it.
