Why is San Francisco comical?

And I think the chances of winning were reversed like 90% would have found against him. I

the 9th is the most over turned appeals circuit in the US. Because of their liberal judicial activist judges ignoring the constitution and the law.

As a prime example the loons out west ruled gun ownership was not a constitutional right.

9th Circuit Judge Wants Another Vote over Trump Travel Ban Decision

Exactly, thanks Xcathdra.

Yeah. Well. He tried.
But that pesky court got in his way.

How's that "next week" thing for health care going?

Now that the Secretary of DHHS has been confirmed instead of being blocked we should see some headway.

Yeah. That pesky Republican Congress gets in the way.

"Maybe next year", right? "It's complicated."

Trump is getting his training wheels. From Congress and the courts.

you mean democratic senators who held up the confirmation? Why repeal and replace when there is no DHHS secretary, who will be in charge of the eventual changes?

Also why so angry?

No. I mean the Republican members of Congress who were trying to figure out how to "repeal and replace" "in a week."

Also why so angry?

I'm not angry about Trump. I'm concerned (a trifle amused) by his naivete.

Is sounds (sort of) like the Government will be going back to the 9th Circuit Court.

The U.S. Justice Department on Monday said a Seattle federal judge should not conduct further proceedings until after a U.S. appeals court reviews the temporary suspension of President Donald Trump's travel ban from seven-Muslim majority countries, according to a court document.

www.foxbusiness.com...

Meanwhile, the Government may have to provide evidence.

In a separate court filing on Monday, Washington's attorney general said a Seattle judge should immediately allow discovery into the merits of its case.

Another reason why the states have no standing and why Judge Robart / 9th circus are wrong. The claims made by washington state about potential students, employees and professors -

Not one of the 5 have Visas.

The Ninth Circuit’s Stay On Trump’s Immigration Order Is Legal Garbage

This is where you should begin to get angry. After the court found it likely that Trump’s executive order violated constitutional rights of people who have no constitutional rights, it put those make-believe “rights” ahead of the country’s national security, and your right to be safe in your home, workplace, and place of worship. The court put the rights of the following people ahead of your safety:

Two visiting scholars (one without a visa) who wanted to spend time at Washington State University;
Three “prospective employees” of the University of Washington who had no visas; and
Two medicine and science interns without visas.

Yes, the court found that the make-believe “rights” of seven people (only one of which actually had a visa, and none of which were in the country) trump your right to live free and without fear. Their “rights” trump the national security interests of the U.S. government and its 300 million citizens. This is 100 percent wrong.

When presented with the fact that all seven countries Trump’s executive order affected were labeled “countries of concern” by the Obama administration (more than 60 terrorism-related arrests have occurred since 9/11 involving citizens of these countries), the court essentially said it didn’t care. Unless it was presented with something really juicy, like intelligence it has no authority to view, it would give no deference to the government’s argument that national security concerns must be taken into account. It’s a shameful and sad outcome.

Face it: Bannon is not a lawyer, and he crafted a stupid EO. This is just the first of many, many legal challenges to his anti-American agenda. If you get worked up about all of them, you will eventually blow a mental gasket. Kick back and enjoy Government: The Reality TV Show.

Like Maxine Waters and the Democrats.

Next time try not to side step the issue. The 5 people the 9th used to violate the Constitution, the law and a supreme court ruling are not visa holders. The states have no standing.

Ignoring the facts and the law simply because people hate Trump is not an option.

also can you cite your source that the EO was drafted by Bannon? Last I checked it was Giuliani and a bunch of other people, including the White House and DOJ legal counsel.

Given Trumps trollful proclivities, it would be hilarious if Bannon was there simply to make people nuts.

I mean, even the mot ardent Trump supporters I know are uneasy over him having a role. Trump really pullled out his "woo" card with that. He also seems to quote Alex Jones statistics. Which is just crazy.
