Incorrect, I have an objective view of LEO. I recognize there are problems with the power granted to LEO and the abuses need to stop.

The 800 pound gorilla that everyone is ignoring in favor of political bashing is that she was mayor and the police were her employees.

Her ignorant and hateful comments towards one of her employees makes her guilty of creating a hostile work environment.she probably violated some other employment laws also.

she is unfit to hold any public office or to hold a position of authority over anyone even in the private sector.

why she thought it would be ok to do what she did is just baffling, and then she lied about it several time. she has no honor,integrity,dignity and no respect for anyone and at her age I doubt that she ever will.

Stop making things up. There are correct action procedures, not everything ends in termination, particularly for a civil employee.

Just so I understand.

The pres, who is freshly elected takes an interest in a case in a police dept. The arresting officer was not fired. The officer was not disciplined. And the officer was not found to have done anything wrong. All this with the weight of the POTUS on a police dept's back. I find it amazing the officer was not fired because it was easier.

The independent findings showed both the officer and the professor acted like asshats. I am not sure what type of job you have but you do not always get fired for every minor issue.

Then you're easily amazed because the department would've opened themselves up to a massive liability if they had terminated his employment due to political pressure from the President, and you can bet your easily amazed ass they would've been sued into oblivion by the FoP.

Fortunately "acting stupid" isn't generally against policy. One can be perfectly in line with policy and procedure and still act stupidly.

It's that whole concept of "discretion" we hear about.
