How's everyone's evening going? Well if you want it to get a little bit better, why not press the play button and get ready for some raw southern rock.

Let me know how that head feels after a bit of banging.

Anyone else a C.O.C. fan? What other 90s rock do you think can stand the test of time?

Hope you have some fun with this classic album! (IMO--1st song is prob my least favorite.. it just gets better and better after that one).

I member!

The whole thrash core thing.
At least that's what we called it back then.

Fk yea, CoC!

90's bands are hard to discern the good from the bad. So much randomness at that time.

Helmet
Soundgarden
Rammstein

Holy # the 90's, what a great decade for rock and metal. Too many greats to even name. I even liked some of the rap back then. Not too many real authentic newer musicians strike a nerve with me. Maybe I'm just getting old lol. So many of the 90's bands will definitely stand the test of time though, without a single doubt.

Dude, LOVE Helmet-- Wilma's Rainbow

I also enjoy myself some Soundgarden and (on occasion) Rammstein.

How about Therapy? Troublegum.. have you heard it? They're a bada Northern Irish band. Check out if you haven't heard.

Thanks for stopping in!

Hey there

I am a big rap fan, and I would guess that many rap fans would say that 92-94 was the golden age.

Ah memories..

The sub-genres of "heavy metal" have reached a point of absurdity.
A cursory google search of the first five words of this post is funny and a little sad all at the same time.

Ok now I had to google it, and looks like I'm off on a tangent.

Reading VH1's most ridiculous 10 list. Will let you know what I find Or you could make a thread!

So far I like "Death N' Roll" best.

Thanks for this!

Metal/Rap of all genres will never be as solid as in the 80's and 90's(maybe early 00's). There is still some solid showings of metal genres still today, but not like it was. Pop has taken over and brainwashed the masses, along with the wannabe Metal, Rap we are inundated with now.

One of my favorites
Suicidal Tendencies.. Mike Muir Vocals, Rob Truillo Bass(now with Metallica)

Institutionalized; "All I wanted was a Pepsi" (wont embed correctly, code too long?)
Suicidal Tendencies - Institutionalized
Send me your money(anti religious rant, worth a listen) (also wont embed correctly, code too long?)
Suicidal Tendencies- Send Me Your Money

These guys were banned from playing in several cities(back in the '90s) due to the protests surrounding the band's material, which I call butt hurt from truth) Sort of like how "2 Live Crew" got banned, which did have questionable lyrics and messages within so maybe their ban was warranted.

What happened to freedom of speech in music? Think; Tipper Gore.
From Wikipedia

Gore rose to prominence for her work with the Parents Music Resource Center (PMRC), voicing strong opinions and advocating censorship, for the labeling of record covers of releases featuring profane language, especially in the heavy metal, punk and hip hop genres.[2] She has advocated for mental health, homelessness, women and children. Gore has also been an LGBT rights activist since her husband was in office, which was rare for a second lady and against her husband's beliefs at the time.

7 minutes in and this is definitely ear candy! I remember I was crazy about the single when it came out but did not realize what a composition this album was.

Thanks again. So good.

Start to finish it is my all-time favorite album.

No 90's collection would be complete without these.

All of Tool as well.
YES!! Undertow is an EXCELLENT album solid from start to finish, I still rock it front to back. It's hard to stop it part way.

You guys beat me to it, thanks.

I miss those days of great Metal shows and concerts for cheap. Now it cost an arm and a leg.
