The right took the label and decided to apply it to any news story that doesn't align itself with their narrative or reality. That is why is a trump supporter issue. In the beginning it was a reasonable term used to label news which had been published by actual FAKE sites to shift supporter for either candidate.

And again the right took it, and turned it into their own little weapon whenever they wanted to avoid reality. Now they are using it to discredit the media even when the media has evidence to back up their stories. They will look for one little grammar error, or mis-wording and then deem that as evidence to label something as fake news.

I remember when CNN did a report on fake news, and they highlighted both fake news that favored Trump, and Hilary. Just stop it. That thread is sourced through Daily Mail. You can't because you know fake news is predicated on whether that news story is against or for Trump. When it is for Trump, it is real and legitimate, they are impartial but, when it criticizes Donald or presents any type of news that is even remotely damaging to his ego or your idealized vision of Donald, you supporters will find any minor discrepancy, even if that minor discrepancy does not effect the whole of the story, and use that as evidence to label it as fake news.

The MSM may have started it, but the right took it to new lows, and is now using it to discredit ANYTHING that poses a thread to their cult-commander and chief. And again when the MSM coined it; it was meant to show fake news stories on BOTH sides.

But again keep pretending as if the MSM coined it just to demonize Trump because that's all they do correct? Even though TRUMP got the most news coverage from all three MSM outlets than all other candidates. You wasn't complaining about Fake news then, huh? And no. They coined this to pass the 'disinformation and propaganda act' that Obama signed a few weeks ago. Russia election tampering gave it momentum then some guy shooting a gun off at a pizza shop while looking for pedophiles tipped the bill into the net.

If an article is released about Donald, you are at the mercy of whoever interprets the article. The article could be backed up by evidence but if it is criticizing donald, and the person who you rely on for 'facts' calls it fake news, you will believe them. Why do I constantly bring this up? Because I have YET to see a supporter admit criticism for Donald. Every time an article is released that has justified criticism, you sycophants find some way to label it as fake news.

If there is a news story worth looking at, it will get posted here. That gives members here an opportunity to pick the story apart and post any information from any other source that counters that story. Then I get to watch people's comment and see things they saw or refused to see or vise versa and then I can decide what to believe on my own after everything that has been found has been posted. It is truest form of journalism. BS does not fly here.

Name me one justified criticism that Trump supporters have taken into consideration. You cannot name me one. Everyone single criticism that has been put forth by opposing sides and even those who do not align themselves with a side has either been met with arrogance, dismissal, or flat our denial via 'fake news'.

You cannot name one because every news story that offers this criticism is deemed fake news by your supporters. And here you are, not even a watcher of any news, claiming you get your facts from ATS, where do you think ATS gets their facts from? They get it from the sites you call fake news.

The only difference is ATS members look at it, and deem it fake news if it criticizes Trump. Oh, if it praises Trump it gets the pass, but any criticism will be met with intense scrutiny until anything is found, no matter how trivial, to discredit the article, and THEN it will be called fake news.

You know, maybe this is a blessing in disguise.

Maybe since confidence in ALL forms of media is so low...we, the people, need to get off our collective asses and actually participate in world events.

Maybe instead of getting news from the television, we need to attend and be a part of these news-worthy events?

Maybe instead of complaining about the system, we need to become a positive force for change in it? Maybe we need to answer our questions by putting feet on granite and seeing things for ourselves?

If you don't see something yourself, you have to take someone else's word for it. What if, instead, we try to put our own eyes on things as much as possible?

Hillary should be in prison. It is too soon to judge because I think the FBI still has her in the bag but if she gets away I will be very dissapointed.

His daughter should be first lady. She might still be but it has not been announced yet. His wife is just a nice crotch to grab.

How to find "non-fake news"? You can't.
The idea of news itself is absurd. It has never been about the spread of valuable information as much as it has been about entertainment and viewers, least long as I've been alive.

As the audience becomes less and less sensitive to the stories, the more that the truth will be stretched to accommodate the shock factor that has been proven to pull the attention that the media so desperately seek.

One thing is certain, I go out and live life in person. No media, just me. I'm witnessing the truth.

The media is all about control. In the old days, it was about subliminal control; mainly through advertisement and subtle innuendo. The only way folks got news back then was newspapers or word of mouth. Not many folks had radios. When TV came along, there were very few shows. Mainly children programming during the day. News in the evening, and no programming at night. As more and more people brought TV into their homes, the programming changed. The news changed. It went from "Just the facts, ma'am", to "the hell with the facts", just entertain and plant the seeds of the agenda.

People were conditioned to believe the news, like "pics or it didn't happen." It was always and is still all a ruse. It has never been about giving us the truth. It has always been about conditioning us to trust and believe what you are told. We are and have always been wagged.

I believe they expect you to just get your news from Trump because everywhere else is lying about him. All of them, every single news source is in it together, even though almost all of the, are owned by rich conservatives
