doubleE211 is my user name because it has special meaning to me. I am married and both of our names begin with E and Feb. 11th is our anniversary.

I used Hummingbirds in my avatar because they hang out in our backyard and they have come to symbolize our love for each other.

I am a consultant for many companies that want to provide better customer service or start a customer service department.

I have 2 children, a boy 10 and a girl 7. They are wonderful.

My interests are varied.

I look forward to meeting you.

I thought it was either a train reference or a bra reference. Guess that's been cleared up.

Welcome!

Sounds good! It's a fasting day for me but I would probably break it for shrimp cocktail. I stick with coffee and tea in the a.m. Check with me in a few hours when the Packers/Falcons game is starting.

Pleasure to meet you, see you around ATS.

I have my conductor hat all ready! Don't you just hate it when you meant to spell a word only to spell a different word? But I here you! LOL!

Don't get to excited there, I am not a very provocative person in public, anonymous or not. I save my risqué behavior for behind close doors.

Hell I was just impressed with your ability to work so many references in to one comment but I mean....

Although I have seen a few spelling Natzi's on the boards in the past they do add points to consider . I never was and ever will be a good speller .Its just one of those things that is rather then something that will be . Better to get the gest's or jests of the thing trying to be said . You will fit in well here and we will learn something new from you .

Hiya! Welcome.
I'm a retail slave, I know customer service and the difference it makes in the quality of a consumer's experience. Good customer service is a rarity and many businesses could stand to improve that aspect. On the other hand some customers take that old saying (the customers always right) too far, dealing with people who have an over sized sense of entitlement can be a pain. Working among the public is a joy, though, for the most part. Can't let a few bad apples spoil the whole bunch, ya know.

It is the most challenging customers that lead to the best opportunities. I have had many customers that were difficult and many of them just want to be appreciated. Some have an agenda when they walk in, but disarming them with a smile and letting them know they are valued immediately can disengage that agenda.

Money can be spent elsewhere if there is a lack of service and a smart consumer knows that. The key is realizing they are there in front of you and how they are dealt with will determine their future dollars being divested.

I teach everyone to pretend in a role play scenario that they are the consumer and we all are. We all want to feel valued and appreciated whenever we go to spend our hard earned dollars.

I agree with everything you have said. My point was that the world has some bad apples whether we like it or not. Despite that, those bad apples are always treated fairly as I can muster regardless of what sort of chip they might have on their shoulder. Working in public you will meet all kinds but you got to take the bad with the good!
