Yes Obama was such a far superior crowd gatherer than Trump, but we know Obama was a Super Fake. Maybe Trump will turn out the same, but I sincerely do not think he will.

The inauguration begins at 11AM...both today and in 2009..

Both photos are shortly after 11AM

Donald Trump’s First Twitter Background as President Was a Photo From the Inauguration of Barack Obama

I wonder, though, why his third Twitter background is Alfred Hitchcock looking out the window.

I think the most significant take-away from the size of the crowd at the inauguration is:

Who cares? At the end of the day it doesn't matter one damn bit. The new President may have his feelings a little hurt, because he was quoted as saying that "they are saying the crowd is going to be the biggest ever"...but it really doesn't matter.

His 1st 100 days will be the first measure of what really matters. So far, the rest is just noise.

You got it!

People have been judging him since day 1, the left really need to sit down take breath and look at themselves.

And the first Whitehouse petition that has caught fire is a demand to release his tax returns!

How long before team Trump makes WH petitions disappear?

Republicans have jobs to go to?

Mm, one could always counter that the bumkins are too broke and/or jobless to afford the gas to go prostrate in front of their savior. It's an equally plausible jab, to be fair.

See that lake in the back that Xue posted at bottom?

Now look at the tiny lake at the very top of my OP picture.

Same crowd..just other direction and cropped to omit the empty part of the mall.

hoping your visual-spatial centers are operating.

Well it does seem to support the claim that Trump has the lowest favorability of any President going in ever. But of course those polls were just fake news.

Considering your rhetoric history, I'm surprised they're not yours.

maybe the rest of the people couldn`t get there because the liberal rioters and looters had streets blocked?

or maybe it just isn`t very important how many people did or didn`t show up Trump is still going to do what he said he was going to do no matter how many people were there or weren`t there.
