In 1982 a remarkable event took place. At the University of Paris a research team led by physicist Alain Aspect performed what may turn out to be one of the most important experiments of the 20th century. You did not hear about it on the evening news. In fact, unless you are in the habit of reading scientific journals you probably have never even heard Aspect's name, though there are some who believe his discovery may change the face of science.................

``

appreciate the 'food for thought'

i don't think theres any connection...
but the subject makes me think about that movie-story
called 'FREQUENCY'
in some offbeat, serpentine logic, the phenomena
may be related or may be a 'gateway' of knowledge
to worm-holes???

very intersting. I tried to pick out a few crazy things in that article, but found out that there were too many. Great find. Do you have anymore on these scientist?

He also has book with the same title...(interesting reading)
quanta-gaia.org...

In the book, two scientist/physicists with do different approach in their experiments...came up with the same conclusion...

One was trying to figure out where memory is actually stored in the brain...he still could not found out where exactly they are located....

The other...do research about subatomic particles...

That sounds like a form of quantum entanglement, which is how quantum teleporters work.

Sounds interesting, My conclusion of it, is that it's saying the universe we are in is a projection or hollagram of the real one.

Maybe the move matrix could be real? and the so called almighty god is sitting there sending out the projection?

we the Humans are stuck in the hollogram (The Matrix)

God outside the hollorgram (The Machines)

Wow. Interesting stuff. Learned quite a bit from that article (if nothing more than that if you cut up a hologram, the pieces still display the whole image, just smaller... that's pretty cool). Defineatly got me thinking and wondering on a different level... but then again... you all might be right there with me... can anyone read my thoughts yet???

I was being serious.

Very interesting article, thank you for presenting it.

Perhaps... Our consciousness is the only part of us that is real? And then, maybe even it is not.

Also gives a heck of a lot more credibility to Buddhism... the oversoul, transcendentalism, etc... If our minds are all interconnected as part of the holographic paradigm (holographic continuum of everything) then Buddhism is closer to a "right" answer than most other religions.

thanks again... good stuff.

Is people or organic or inorganic life individual?

Or (figuratively speaking) are we just a drop of water...when that drop of water is drop into the ocean...it become part of the water as a whole?

This would explain why God ( in Genesis) uses his breath to animate the man that he created...(This not to be taken literally...for I believe the bible is more Symbolic than being actual fact)

EDIT: Did not mean to go off topic...

Could explain why there are some that are able to communicate on other levels, to dead ppl. like mentally looking from a different angle or something... awsm theory!

I thought i'd better post my views as it is one of my favourite topics. I love questioning reality.

There were a few other interesting things i can remember from "The Holographic Universe" by Michael Talbot:

Why can amputees feel numbness, tingling and pins & needles in their missing limbs? Does that mean all feeling and also pain is in the brain not in that particular body part.

There was a good illusion that highlighted the eyes blind spot. There was a star and a dot in front of a grid on the page, holding the book at a certain distance from your eye resulted in the star or dot disappearing. When the dot disappears your brain would fill in the missing part of the grid. It was pretty amazing the first time i tried it. I'll have to see if i can find it on the net or scan it. What if we are constantly missing things around us? Ther are plenty of things we cannot see or hear, ultra-violet light, x-rays etc. Snakes can see heat. Some animals can hear sound beyond our hearing frequency. I've read that we perceive less than one-millionth of reality.

Matter exists differently depending on how we view it. Sometimes it exist as waves sometimes particles. There is evidence that the only time this matter exists as a particle is when we look at it. What if our consciousness creates subatomic particles? What if scientists don't find subatomic particles they create them.

As i said I like to question reality.

We humans generally describe what is real as what we can see, hear, smell, taste and touch. These senses are all simply electrical signals being interpreted by our brain. That means reality as we define it is in our heads. If reality is inside our head then my reality is likely to be different to yours. Maybe we create our own realities? That would make us our own Gods. What if nothing exists outside of my head, how would i know? What if my brain was the only thing to exist and everyone else only existed in my head.

If you were to use a virtual reality machine and you smell something, is that smell real? It is still a signal in your brain just like a real smell, so how do you define the difference between what we call the real smell and what we would say is the virtual smell?

Ok what does it mean if the universe is a hologram? are we condense light show, and everything around us? And what does it have to do well feeling tinglie down below...in the amputated area?

So far what I'm getting out of this everything is an illusion and nothing really exist, and im just pre programmed..i think i got this whole hologram thing wrong, can someone explain....what it means for mankind?

Eye's blind spot doesn't have anything to do with how we see surrounding, it just comes from anatomy of eye.

And after looking some areas of that crystalinks site... it should be taken with bucket of HCl.

But it still highlights the fact that we do not necessarily see everything that is around us. When you look at the world you're totally unaware that this blind spot exists.
Studies have suggested that less than 50% of what we see is information entering our eyes. The remaining 50%+ is pieced together by our brain out of our expectations of how the world should be.
