I think if I were to dive in to this, my mind would not survive.
Spoon bender Uri Geller was tested by the CIA to assess his psychic abilities in a week-long experiment, newly published documents have revealed.
Geller was brought to Stanford Research Institute in August 1973 where experts tried to judge whether he had paranormal abilities over a period of eight days.
It's all in the mind: What Uri Geller got right - and wrong - during CIA experiments

Interesting since didn't James Randi pretty much discredit him.
If I recall correctly ,until James Randi came along Uri was able to fool a couple of scientist that didn't have a controlled environment.

He did indeed, I haven't read the stuff on Uri but the story of the docs came up on the news yesterday and they spoke about his mentions in it and also said there were UFO files too...

His discrediting URI was about the "spoon", key bending, etc., as well as the canisters. What had pertained to the CIA was the metal canisters (as shared above in my reply).
James Randi, on the Tonight Show, glued down the canisters, Uri figured this out apparently(bumping the table as claimed) and declined continue.
CIA doesn't appear to elaborate on whether those canisters were handled by them(when they should have been) or by Uri's crew. Also, Uri wasn't the only one the CIA determined the studies from.

Not just cannisters, remote viewing too. They had someone in a room draw something (a crudely drawn bunch of grapes in the example shown) and Url would.draw something very, very similar in another room in another part.of the building. The bunch Url drew was the same sort of size and shape as the bunch drawn by the other person....

Exactly, IMO that wasn't fake(as I've heard people claim before). Sure they may be not all double blind studied but am doubting it'd leave that so much open for tampering.

Why would they do this?
I'm not clicking the link, but... why?
I don't see how this could be legit.
ETA:
Ok, found it on a legit .gov link.
www.cia.gov... ds-online.html
I will have to read more, because I am still baffled.
Ummm...it's merely an attempt to...legitimatize...themselves and their...work...in the eyes of the plebs...
It's all because of the talk of paring them down to a more manageable size by cutting staff and budget...and Trump calling them out on their leaks...
It's a Tit for Tat...cat and mouse to sway public opinion...Brennon is butthurt because The Donald questioned whether Brennon was the source of the leaks...

Ummm...Buzzfeed...Didn't The Donald just slam Buzzfeed...
And here we have Brennon and CO over at the CIA releasing all of this to them...?
Doesn't that make you question the timing and the significance of the recipient...?
I guess The Donald was right...Brennon DID leak the piss gate story to Buzzfeed...
The CIA is now openly admitting to this by...legitimatizing...Buzzfeed in the minds of the plebs...
Have fun with this distraction...But not too much fun that you lose sight of what the other hand is about...
I think you all have been led by the nose to the pool...from the smell of it...it's not water your being spoonFED...

I completely agree with you. The spoon bending was always achieved through heating up the spoon kinetically, in my opinion, I sailed that theory past my Mum when I was about 15 and she thought it was plausible, that and a certain quality in the spoon.
His 'psychis' skills however, seem to have some substance to them...
