I was once told that a baby could be viewed either as a gift or a curse...
it's just amazing to me that the ones who are most vocal about the rights of the unborn so often seem to think of them as the curse, the punishment given to women for doing such a natural act as having sex....
back in the day, when I was in high school, the girls that were "loose" were looked down on, called such things as sluts and such..
while the men who were having the sex with them were counting them as trophies to be proud of.. they were the studs... on their way to manhood. if that boy, while on his way to manhood happened to get someone pregnant and was from a family that enjoyed high standing, well, his parents were more than happy to assist the girl get an abortion, if they weren't demanding it, even if it was illegal.

there's such a double standard when it comes to this issue...
