The story never said she didn't have the $. The sheriff did say they wouldn't fund it.

Engage in fornication, you're likely to get pregnant. Simple birds and the bees stuff. Don't want to get pregnant, there's numerous avenues to pursue. Get pregnant and you're suddenly responsible for another life. Unless it was against your will(rape) or delivering threaten your life, your personal "it's all about me" frame of mind doesn't matter and doesn't give you priority over another person's life.

In general, it's amazing to me you can get so bent out of shape over Trump yet fully support murder because of "feelings".

They wouldn't need to fund her abortion if she had her own funds! Use your brain! THINK!

I don't think Tennessee allows their tax money to fund abortions unless the pregnancy the result of rape, in which case the sheriff could only make a determination on that if the inmate became pregnant while incarcerated, or incest or to protect the life of the mother, neither of which are under the sheriffs purview.

The Sheriff said they wouldn't fund it. Does that mean she did or didn't have the money? It doesn't mean she didn't have the funds, you are assuming that.

Of course the sheriff is going to say that, he wants to get elected again. No one wants limited taxpayer $ to go to abortions.

I'm not taking sides on this issue but aren't we forgetting about this....
