Can you post these videos showing these attempts on Trump?

Also the link is not found.

They are probably talking about the British guy who pulled a gun at a Trump rally and was quickly taken down and the guy who tried to rush the stage at another rally and was quickly taken down.

O.P- Some say Trump is the Establishment, some say he isn't. I don't think he is, and as a consequence will be a target, but he will be given some time to step into line before they get rid.

I wouldn't call those attempts, the Brit hardly skinned the cops gun and the other was taken down over nothing other then we thought he (insert excuse).

The guy had bought 2 tickets for 2 separate trump rallies, in case he would not manage to kill trump the first time (his own testimony) The second time he got further but did not succeed. He tried to grab a officers gun to shoot trump with.

How is this not a assassination attempt? Because he did not manage to fire a bullet even though he tried?

Why did ATS publish this? You basically say nothing credible. You said, "they are relieving the man in charge...." First, who is "they?" Second, who is "the man in charge?"

Then, you say that the unknown person is/would be in charge of the security "oversight" of "thousands of National Guard soldiers...." First, he/she is in "charge" of "oversight." Does that seem odd to you? Then, you fail to mention how many Guardsmen the person is even in charge of, or wait, overseeing, or wait ... I guess you meant the person in charge of overseeing....

So, essentially, what you said is some unknown person in charge/not in charge of overseeing an unknown amount of Guardsmen has been relieved, and, you imply that his house is a mess now. You then go on to say an unknown person will take over, but specifically mention that the person is "unnamed."

This is stupid.

I am sorry, but if one tried to write something like this in grad school, one would not make it beyond the first week of discussions and debates.

Come on ATS....

From the Washington Postwww.washingtonpost.com... 1e6-b8b2-cb5164beba6b_story.html?utm_term=.195be9a092f2

"military officials said the Trump transition team receives lists of political appointees and can decide which resignations to accept. All resignations are effective at 12:01 p.m. on Inauguration Day."
Sounds like resignation is part of the game and incoming administrations accept or deny it. Nothing to do with Obama. Though it is a questionable decision during such a hectic time.

Commanding General Ordered to Stand Down on Inauguration: National Guard

So they are relieving the man in charge of the security oversight of thousands of National Guard soldiers during the inauguration, on the same day as the event is scheduled to take place. The man's house is now in disarray, with stacks of papers being packed, and general disorder following, while an unnamed interim person with little if any accountability is taking over, on the same day Trump will be out in the open in front of hundreds of thousands of people, including countless hostile protestors, provocateurs, and potential assassins.

We have already seen multiple attempts on Trump's life, some aired live and watchable on youtube.

The logical objective view is that, in light of history of politics and assassinations, this "muddying of the waters" facilitates a higher risk environment for the candidate, which is not good. Even a failed attempt on Trump's life at such a public event could become the impetus to create something far more terrible than the Patriot Act.

Trump probably fired him like he fired that 87 year old announcer because you know...can't have bad people in there. Whatever the hell that means.

Also, you people prove your own stupidity again and again. You do realize the military is perfectly capable of replacing people seamlessly, right? This is so dumb.

The desperation has gone way past pathetic.

The whole right wing movement destroyed itself. Fox news is decimated, Americans are disgusted with republicans again, and the money is saying Trump is heading for impeachment. Always go with the money. This is amazing to watch.

I have family in Kentucky and there's a lot of people wanting McConnell out. The bum politicians are losing big time. Booker, you're done too.

Trump, fisa warrant, investigation, he's done.

“The Trump Transition team reportedly offered to let him keep his job until the ceremonies were over. Maj. Gen Schwartz refused. It appears he would rather argue his would rather argue his case though in the press.”

We got a response from the Trump camp.

Here is a fun thought. Why not just have him inside the building, with only the powerful (including Obama) with him. (mostly to ensure there is no 9-11, but add a few top illuminati there with him.) This way, if anything happens we already know who did it. Since only a selected few in a list were inside the building with him.

OR Option B:

Screw tradition, and play it safe from an Uknown location and simply have a monitor displayed in front of thousands. Im sure trump supporters will understand if they are reminded of JFK. The left will cry fowl, but mostly because they want him killed anyways.

there are many ways to do inauguration safely. Why people put themselves in harms way is beyond me.

That was telling them what to expect!

Sure. And the general (who is eligible for retirement) is choosing to retire effective 12:01 on Jan 20, as soon as Trump is POTUS.

Retirement seems preferable to standing there afterwards arguing with the POTUS whether his order beforehand was lawful or not.

Meanwhile, without any word as to who signed what, or even if anything was signed we all get to argue in a vacuum. Cool. Mission accomplished.

Business Insider attempted to contact the National Guard Bureau for comment, but only reached a recording on the press number that directed journalists to call another number, which had another recording directing callers back to the previous number.

So was he removed from duty or is this whole thread based upon "FAKE NEWS"?

The head of the DC National Guard is not a career status officer. The DC Guard head is appointed by the President. When a new administration takes over the head of the DC guard, just like other political appointees, resign allowing the President to decide if he wants to hire them as opposed to firing them.

In this case the head of the DC guard job ends at 12:01 January 20th.

This is normal and nothing sinister is going on.

Washington Post reports that the general submitted a letter of resignation because he was appointed by Obama (the commander of the DC guard is appointed by the President), which is normal for political appointees to do.

Trump's team decided to accept the letter of resignation. So if you're going to crap your pants over him being told to vacate the position, you need only to look at Trump and his team for it. All accepted resignations take effect at the moment of swearing-in, regardless of whether it's the Postmaster General or the commander of the DC guard.

The transition team wasn't entirely on board with his resignation taking effect at the moment of swearing in, but the Army didn't want to make an exception for him, and named an interim replacement to finish out the inaugural duties.

Have only read through a couple pages so forgive is this is already posted.

I thought I read earlier where WaPo said the pentagon had given the order but it is no longer there.
I found this instead.

WaPo

Two military officials with knowledge of the situation said the Trump team decided to accept the resignation. A person close to the transition said transition officials wanted to keep Schwartz in the job for continuity, but the Army pushed to replace him.

Good Find.

I think this is significant and doesn't bode well for Trumps inauguration.

Yeah, here's an attempt. Takei says that Trump is planning on banning all Muslim immigrants. That's not what Trump said. Trump proposed banning immigration from terrorist linked Islamic states. Statements like this are not only DISHONEST, they put Trump's life at risk by painting him in a bad light.
