I think that may be untrue regarding busses v cars. . There is terrible parking for the inauguration- busses are the smart way to go. And Reps charter busses all the time, if they are involved in travel groups /touring or church activity busses.

Maybe that's a good thing? I dunno. Then again if he'd made it in wrestling we might not be having this discussion. Lol!

Trump supporters might just have more money and will drive or take a taxi from the airport or rent a car. I sure wouldn't go on a bus. I would fly to Washington DC and rent a car, taxi, or catch a shuttle bus from the motel.

Maybe there were more people that were on a lower income with Obama or at least people who were used to riding a bus. If I lived in Nevada or Chicago, I would be more used to buses.

I don't think bus permits is a good indicator in this case as to how many people will show up.

Sure, that was based on actual people at an event. I don't recall judgements about how many buses had been booked a week before the event There is so much blind hate, that we've descending into debating the ridiculous. What next? How many hot dogs were sold vs 2008?
Meanwhile policies are being discussed as we speak.

To be frank, Obama attended 10 inaugural balls, Bush had 8, Clinton's had 14! Last I heard, Trump was only having 3 Inaugural events. I would imagine that being there won't be as many events, there will not be as many people arriving into the DC area.

Personally, I think that is a good thing! More fun to celebrate at home with my family and friends!

It will be the first inauguration that gets cancelled for lack of interest.
