I never said he called on Russia to hack the DNC. I said he called on Russia to use their hacking skills to find Hillary Clinton's Secretary of State emails.

And all the while, the FBI recovered deleted work related emails and turned them over to the State Dept.

And the SD is slowly classifying them and publishing.

Exactly. The FBI had them all along. That was announced in the late summer or early fall. Yet, people still think Hillary's Secretary of State emails were hacked, they weren't, and displayed on the WikiLeaks. They weren't.

When Trump called for Russia to "find" them, the people ate it up! But, technically, "The People" already had them.

He triggered the triggerables again.

But some of the Hillary email confusion came when wikileaks published a searchable index of her emails.

All of it was available on the SD website also.

Right. They were released by the State Department in February of 2016.

After 5 pages of looking I give up. I hope someone corrected the OP; who knows better. He did not say he thinks it is Russia. He said he thinks it is Russian. With an N; as in relating to Russia's state, people, or language. The software was russian, the actors were russian, the server was russian...could be any or all of them. It is very different from saying it was Russia.

Russia spies America. America spies Russia. This has been going on for centuries. This is no secret.

He also has not said he thinks Russia influenced the election. In fact he is always clear in generalising and talking about other countries that hack the US too. But facts are lost it seems on those who want to tell a story - perhaps as I said as some form of self help.

But, it's another thing to have a manchurian candidate, Trump, that will be in office providing the good to Putin.

You're right, my apologies, but he still didn't call on Russia to use their "hacking skills" to find Hillary Clinton's emails. He specifically said what I quoted earlier.

No. I'm repeating the words that came out of Trump's mouth.

You didn't. You used the word hack, where Trump didn't even mention it. Coincidentally, the media used the same term.

Donald Trump Calls on Russia to Hack Hillary Clinton's Emails | TIME

Trump urges Russia to hack Clinton's email | POLITICO

Donald Trump 'accused of treason' after urging Russia to hack Hillary Clinton's emails | The Independant

Donald Trump to Russia: hack and publish Hillary Clinton's 'missing' emails | The Guardian

But we will defend the citizens of this country, and the Russians need to understand that. I think they've been treating it as almost a probing, how far will we go? How much will we do? And that's why I was so shocked when Donald publicly invited Putin to hack into Americans. That is just unacceptable. | Hillary Clinton

I see there is another thread of conjecture, with speculations built upon falsehoods, built upon more speculation.
I am beginning to think these threads are actually Liberal therapy. Like the act of writing it helps one deal with the frustration of not getting what one wants. I guess it is better than resorting to violence.

It reads like a Hillary email thread, a Benghazi thread and a birth certificate thread.

Barack HUSSEIN Obama, we need to investigate your birth certificate for the 48th time

Get used to it lol

Pretty much, I expect it to continue for 4 or 8 years, then the next President will have to deal with something else.
You're not big on actually supporting your Presidents in the US.

Personally, I do believe that Trump is guilty of treason. Unfortunately, the enemy is not an entity on whom we've declared war. Otherwise, he'd be arrested for treason, in my opinion.

I stand by assessment that Trump was calling on Russia's well established hacking machine to "find" Hillary's Secretary of State emails, but I'm curious as to how you imagine Russia could "find" them without hacking?

Where was the outrage in 2015 when China hacked US government databases of 22.1 million individuals confidential information, were any Senators talking about throwing rocks at China?

This is 2016 and the topic is Russia, the US election and the President Elect's relationship with that government. Shall we stay focused?

You are referencing and sourcing talking points from the press conference, that was one of them.

sigh... nevermind, not worth it. have fun in your reality.

But the topic is not the entire event.

The quote mentioned was part of his response about Russian hacking. You say it's off-topic, however, it's COMPLETELY relevant and on-topic to this thread. You don't get to decide when a sentence stops, the person speaking does.

You are promoting fake news, this thread should be in LOL.

Not a single country ever complains of Russia. Brexit won. British didn't blame Russia. Marine Le Pen is going to win. French won't blame Russia. Liberals need to grow up and accept the fact that they lost because they lost touch with the middle class.

No one is above the law. You know what she did. Well part of it anyway. They are still investigating her. She is criminal with criminal intent. She will get more of what she has coming soon enough.

The right answer of course is that if USA and Russia can improve our relations, perhaps we wont need to spy on each other so heavily not attempt to influence political out come in each Nation.
