They think THEY are the foundation of America?? WOW! That takes pompousness to a new level. They're just a little full of themselves and maybe they need a good dose of reality to wake them up.

When the money stops flowing into Hollywood....OUR money that we spend on their products... these elitist hacks won't be the ones immediately affected. It will be the other people, the REST of the list we see in the credits at the end of a flick. They will drop their support and belief in their elitist politics faster than they could ever imagine. Their bubble will pop, and reality will set in.

So does this mean no more pitiful pc remakes of movies that should never be remade or never should have been made in the first place? An end to a horrible string of big budget flops that try to replace plot and talent with special effects? An end to big screen treatments of 60's cartoon characters?

I'm not seeing why people would care if these celebrities strike. So they won't make many more bad movies we all don't watch for a while. Sounds like a win win for us. They threatened to leave the country if Trump won and yet they're still here. Adults acting like children stamping their feet because they didn't get their way is all.

Yeah, they were never going to move, all it was, was this: Covertly trying to influence the dumber ones in the crowd. "We can´t vote for trump or all those poor actors will leave the country". That´s how it looks to me.

Yesterday I watched parts of the replay of the Golden Globes, even with German subtitles and I counted five moments where they all mocked Trump / talked about how america needs a woman at the top. Talk about beating selling a dead horse..

And why was it necessary to go the skin color route at the opening "musical" and then also, the race theme was present until I shut off the TV, that was around the moment, where the yellow canarian bird was trying to be funny on stage.

I really don't believe this is at all true. One, Hollywood is a stable of livestock. They exist to make money for those who run the show and actors are only there to make money. They don't make money, they have no purpose. And they don't make money and their little lives suddenly get VERY scary. No more lavish lifestyles and luxury, they are back to being ordinary people. And you take away the paychecks from the army of people that prop them up and suddenly they will be hated and thrown to the wolves. So I'd chalk this up to fake news. Fun fake news, we could do without Hollywood for a while and it would be fun to see these people have cold hard reality slap them senseless, but its fake news. They have zero say in what they do.
