They *had* feelings for women but later on they *also* got attracted to men.
People who do believe in God know that having intercourse with the opposite gender is going against nature

i am willing to bet that mount athos is one of the top ten boring cities/countries on earth for anyone who is not a dedicated monk. and your suggestion that a person be a boring reclusive hermit rather than gay is laughable,
Which means you cannot be born with it
God frowns on discarding the wives. For example, he is certainly frowning on Donald Trump for getting rid of each wife when he thinks she is no longer a "10", and going for the younger model

Oh dear, you certainly are in need of better communication skills if you cant talk in a religious forum without bringing Trump into it.

No, you just gave me propaganda that supports your opinion.
More than that, if you ask Him, Jesus will come in to your life and actually change the way you feel and things you want to do and actually make it possible to live a good life free from sin. You will still let the corrupt flesh dominate your spirit some times, and then you repent and accept what Jesus did for you.
e. She calls it mother's instinct. She thought she had given birth to something wonderful like a saint. Imagine her disappointment when she found out that I am just plain old gay. Even she admits now that I am 43 that what she sensed was my sexuality.
The OP was asking the ATS family for their thoughts. The post are actual feelings that homosexuals has conveyed to me when concerning God.

Okay well, I think my point is very clear, and maybe people get upset because you don't actually address what they are saying. My position is that the idea that the Bible teaches that homosexual sex is unforgivable is misreading of the text. I asked where you pulled your information from first so as to make sure I didn't miss something. Am I wrong?

Like that's helped out the countless paedophile priests who continue their abhorrent crimes!
There are many gods but only one God.

Unfortunately, the Devil also comes into the life of priests, since Satan's whole goal is to steal God's glory by tempting and turning those striving to be holy to his evil ways.
The higher up you go, the more difficult it becomes to avoid the Devils attention.
Jesus himself had to deal with the Devil who tempted him in the desert. So, the closer someone gets to Jesus, the more likely they'll see something of the Devil too, as he tries to derail their path.
There's an objective to understanding The Bible and you'll notice that many people pick their own approach despite this and through reasoning arrive at different conclusions. We would see similar results if a test group having no idea what the objective of the game of golf was and was allowed to approach according to however they thought. Those knowing and understanding the objective can either correct them and be seen as a know it all to some or just take the understanding route and say "we all have our own truth" and let them play golf as the feel.

yeah, it sucks when the ultimate guide to spirituality and moral behavior is written so weirdly that the simplest of concepts become distorted and confusing and leads to 400,000 different ideas about what the book actually says. it gets even weirder when you think about how allegedly a substantial portion of the information was imparted by a supernatural entity who has never bothered to come back and clarify its contents for us hundreds of years later.
TMW the divine government makes the american government look competent.
We are in the LGBT times. President Obama just legalized Gay and Lesbian marriage. That's our reference point, to see where we are, and what is coming next.
This begins to get into the "unknown God" belief: sure, I believe he exist but, I'm not certain as to how I would know anything beyond that.

Am I allowed to respond? Unless we were up there at the Mount when God gave Moses the Commandments we really have no clue.
I dont buy Saul/Pauls conversion on the road to Damascus.
Specifically if god is omnipresent/omniscient infinite you can never really guess what its standard's are, unless it appears in the flesh telling me that it somehow got it wrong and then needed a "pre-existing" son (Trinity) to be crusified because it allowed temptation in Eden, and admitted that even god isnt sure about free will/predestination, then I may listen to....NOT REALLY - the Gnostics told us to be wary of the Deimurge
