Perhaps Israel's control over the world press makes it near impossible for a elected president to maintain office without secumbing to Israel demands. If Trump wants better relations with Israel, its likely to result in "wmd in Iran" bs being promoted in the news again as a mantra to promote war.

Yes too true but my government gave the Jews the nod re the Balfour Declaration and the USA came in and beat the Keiser for us so who knows where these things would have ended if we hadn't done what we did in 1917. It is theft Khnum total theft and those Arabs in the west bank are treated disgracefully, the people who do it are largely USA immigrants, not many born in Israel people give a damn about living in isolated settlemnets where life is dull on boring housing estates. Most Israelis want to have fun and live on the coast, sun sea beer and ladies in addition to immersing themselves into a genuine middle eastern mix of a lifestyle enjoying it s foods and life style. As a goodwill gesturenothing could be better than a complete halt to the settlements, Personally I do believe that Bibi would trade the west bank and even Golan if Israel was accepted by the natives and surrounding states. Apart from west Jerusalem there is nothing amazing about that region for him, if a genuine peace was on the table he would go for it. But the leaders of the Arab world are not the people on the ground and will they go for peace too? Truth be told Israelis are scared, they are hanging on (just) after generations trying to murder them and this one thing is capable of defending them, it will need to be a real peace treaty with real security of land area to make the Israelis give away their upper hand.................. But the average Israeli man and woman on the street would love nothing more than to have a real peace with all, they are human beings just like the rest of us and I promise the haters of Isreal they are going to be amazed what underneath these Israeli people are in a loving partying brotherly sort of way. The whole region can flourish so much with a genuine peace

It seems that the UN is alternately portrayed as a "tool of Imperialists" or a "tool of Socialists" depending on your political persuasion. One thing is certain; the UN has been spectacularly ineffective in getting anything accomplished. You need look no further than Bosnia, Africa, Iraq, etc. to see the miserable record of failure. The members of the Security Council have very diverse agendas and are rarely on the same side of an issue. The U.S. Congress is now threatening to defund the UN after this latest attempt by Obama to censure Israel and, after six decades of abject failure, I think I would agree....get us out of the UN and move them to Socialist Europe where they can endlessly posture without my tax dollars supporting a group of people who hate the United States.

Is there more of that interview? I mean I know they all publicly pledge (on camera) to uphold the security of Israel at AIPAC and every year US gives them 4 billion (Holy Land, Gods Chosen and all that), but thats the first I heard of the 'written paragraph' and 'signing a pledge'. Any more on that would be welcomed...

The United Nations is currently pushing Agendas 21 and 30; they are actively promoting and planning a world wide pol pot utopia and stripping the wealth of developed nations with their climate bs,unfortunately many governments including my own in this country(Australia) are signed up to this nonsense.They want to big note themselves on the international scene,then get that cushy UN job after.That alone is reason to pull out of the UN.

The problem is that Jewish State crushed Arab forces during all war since 1948, 1 arab war, Suez crisis, six day war and Jom Kippur. The biggest mistake for Arabs was that they were 'the agressor' during 1 arab war. They have won all of these war this is why they control now most of the Palestinian territory. They grab that land by force and UN, UK, USA helped them with weapon, cash and intel. UN did nothing when Jews illegaly migrate to Palestine before 1948. UN did nothing to sanction Jewish State for occupation. Jewish State should be banned because of UN Resolution #2535!!! This whole madness could be solved by 3 people now. Obama,Netanyahu and Abbas - THAT IS IT! Jewish state wont recognize Palestine cause that would mean they had to return all land they grabbed.
