Hey Girl what are you doing on third shift?

We have a terrible ice storm here. Work closed early due to it. I got home, but barely made it into the house, I kept sliding backwards from the door.
Then I went to put out ashes so dogs would have some traction and I fell.
It is bad. Give me a blizzard, not ice.

One of them he got rid of and he is getting another rather expensive and special guitar. He is actually making payments on it at Guitar Center. I'd ask him the name of it but he fell asleep.

As for food, we always have good food here in the shed. And good drinks and company too. Well company when people decide to show up.

I've been stealing food from the pantry for awhile now. Sometimes the pixies catch me but I find that blaming it on Troll gets me out of most situations.

Mark would let you play his guitars. He still has that one as far as I know. Lately he has been fixing people's guitars up for them at no cost, unless it needs parts he doesn't has. He will also customize them for folks he knows. And...he shares special techniques with guys just starting out or guys that have been playing a long time and he makes it easier for them to play and get the sound they are looking for.

I LOVE the mother of pearl inlay in the Ibanez JEM!

I wish he had some videos of his playing, he is amazing! I always said he should teach guitar. I remember when I was a teenager I wanted to play hard rock/heavy metal and here I was getting lessons and the guy is making me play Twinkle Twinkle Little Star. Like WTF? Bahahaha! Mark will start with chords and notes and easy parts of cool songs so you stay interested. I sucked at remembering all the notes and chords and just played parts of songs. LOL

IMO that's the secret to keep people playing. Find out what they like, then teach them the tabs/chords and then apply that to theory. It may not be the right way but in order to keep someone interested it works.

He should teach! Great side income to be made.

I agree Jiminy! He has no interest at this time, but he will teach a kid just starting out for free and help the seasoned players with new tricks. I love hearing and seeing the reaction of someone hearing Mark for the first time. Their mouth drops open and their eyes are popping out of their heads. LOL!

I've been playing for the recent crop of toddlers that come around the house. They are my audience and they are simply captivated!! Hope it plants that seed in their brains.

Oh I'm sure it will. My Great Nephew wants to learn and Mark gave him an old guitar he had that is good for a beginner. Keep inspiring those kids!

Here Ya go.... The Pixies have been keeping busy and making sure our wishes are fulfilled.


And I have had two of these already.


I know how it is to work alot. At some point it gets to be too much if you don't get a break.
But you keep on going, For you know there could come a time when it may slow down.
