That was what he said to the Guardian in an article from 4 days ago that he excerpted and praised on his website where he said:

Now both Julian Assange and I have stated definitively the leak does not come from Russia. Do we credibly have access? Yes, very obviously. Very, very few people can be said to definitely have access to the source of the leak. The people saying it is not Russia are those who do have access.

Notice how he's referring to the source in the present tense repeatedly?

Let's clarify your position a bit:

- Are you saying that the evidence is "very weak" that the DNC was hacked? (I assume not.)

- Are you saying that the evidence is "very weak" that those responsible were state-sponsored? (I assume not.)

- So what you must be saying is that the evidence is "very weak" that APT28/APT29 are Russian? (though APT29/Cozy Bear is not addressed in this OP)

In your expert opinion, what evidence would you realistically expect to EVER see that conclusively proves that either of them are Russian intelligence or working for Russian intelligence?

So, until you have EVIDENCE of the russians not only hacking, but also LEAKING the documents, this isnt based in fact. its based in speculation. I have as just as much evidence that proves Santa Claus leaked the DNC documents that anyone else has that Russia leaked the docs.

I'm not sure I understand your point? All I've done is to present some of the publicly available evidence pertaining to one of the incidents and touched on some of the reasons for attribution to the Russian intelligence apparatus. You haven't actually disputed any of it. I didn't attempt to prove anything in relation to how specifically WL came to be in possession of the material. I didn't even discuss it. In fact, if you look through the 5 posts of the OP, you'll see Wikileaks mentioned only twice and only in relation to the email from Chalupa to Miranda which is in the DNC email's archive.

Let say, for sh*ts and giggles sake that Russia hacked the DNC server and leaked the emails..

For me, I am perfectly ok with that... why? because Russia didn't leak sensitive secrets, they didn't leak nuclear details or threat vulnerability aspects.. they leaked the truth that the Clinton team tried to keep hidden from the public.

If Clinton had of been honest (like she claimed) the hacking and releasing wouldn't have mattered.

2nd, Clinton wanted to confront Russia, drag out ISIS in Syria and move into Iran with all means available.
Trump wanted to TALK to Russia, destroy ISIS and end the Syrian war

Discovered and met can be different. Could it be he learned of the person from a credible source but didn't actually meet the person.

Thanks for compiling the evidence. S+F. People should watch Obama's interview on comedy central on the matter. Yes even the republicans. Russia hacked us, but it's business as usual. The election was not hacked. DT's victory has no asterisk. Obama makes a good point about the complete lack of attention to policies during the election too.
