I have a question:

Has this camera looked towards the pole (towards Nebraska Avenue) on other occasions besides the day in question, or does it ALWAYS look north on Connecticut Ave, except for that one occasion?

That bubble-type camera is usually controllable, and I'm just wondering how uncommon it is (or how common it is, for that matter) for it to be turned to look west onto Nebraska Ave. rather than North to Connecticut Ave.

You appear to be right. Hours later and the mods have not removed the thread, so, looks like they have decided to allow further threads for ongoing questions. I thought that ATS had been rather emphatic in it's curtailment of pizazz gate but I guess the moving of the camera does constitute grounds for discussion.

I have another question:

Does anyone know if the guy who fired the Gun in the pizzeria (Edgar Maddison Welch) was a regular reader of conspiracy websites, such as the the discussion on VOAT that the OP mentioned?

I ask this because I wonder if it was a "self fulfilling prophecy" -- and what I mean by "self fulfilling prophecy" is perhaps Welch read that discussion about a the traffic cam being moved, and that's possibly what prompted him to take the gun into the pizzeria.

He did say he was "self investigating" the allegations, so maybe he read that discussion about the moved camera on VOAT (or on some other site), and decided that maybe something was up, so he went to investigate it (and by "investigate", I mean take the gun inside and fire a few shots).

I just love posting on these, 'not pizzagate' threads. Opps, there, I've done it now. Maybe I can save it. Oh let me see.

Pizazz Gate. Yeah maybe that will get by the censors. Yeah, that's the ticket. Pizazz Gate. So anyway, what's your point. here. The camera was moved or something. By who and why and when.

Asking who what why and when is self investigation and should and can not be taken seriously.

You sir, are a fake news source and should be censored. Only professionals like CNN can report real news, asking such questions.

The days of the conspiracy that shall not be named. Yes the camera was indeed facing Comet, the street and neighboring businesses it's highly unusual for a traffic camera, definitely wasn't facing a pole.

As ms898 said I also have experience with the camera in the pic.

You have to use a security torx driver to remove the dome and then move it manually, then reattach the dome. not really a teenager prank. Busting it is easier and fun compared to a disassembly.

What would you speculate would be a reason for the camera not facing the area in question? The person was giving themselves up if it was planned that way what purpose for the camera being moved?

My question exactly. What purpose does it serve to move the cam? The guy walked in to the pizza place while it was open. There were people there eating and working there. There were plenty of witnesses. What good does it do to move the cam? How does moving the cam mean the gunman was fake?

Maybe there was activity outside during the event that they did not want captured.

These type of cameras often have motors attached and are controlled remotely. This looks to be a traffic control camera and thus would be under the control of the municipality; these all generally feed to a fusion center. Unless it was hacked, then whomever accessed it's control mechanism would be the person who moved its facing.

I don't think we're saying the gunman was fake, I think we're saying the reasons he gave were fake and that he was part of a plot to stigmatize anyone looking closely at or even just discussing the potential ties this place has to the Podestas/other power players in D.C. with special emphasis on why they are tied and what may be occurring.

And Like I said above, perhaps the Gunman was reading the conspiracy theories claiming that "something might be happening at Comet Ping Pong soon because the camera moved!!!", and thus prompted the gunman to go there, with gun in hand, to find out what was going on there that would prompt the movement of the camera.

If that were the case, then it might NOT be that the camera was moved because the gunman was soon going to do his thing, but rather the gunman did his thing because of the conspiracy claims surrounding the camera being moved.

Because then you would also be able to see how and when exactly the area was taped off by the police (the time stamps reported by various sources don't add up). Plus it would capture the alleged shooter from beginning to end on video, including the moment when he was escorted outside. So in that sense, a camera on the spot would obviously make it much easier to figure out what happened (or in this case, to hide what happened).

So it would have to be some planned activity, it just seems like unless they hauled the guy there under duress and marched him to the door there would be little to see. I do think the whole thing smells though.

But it was during the day, wasn't it? Lunchtime I believe. That place and the places around it are pretty busy. Lots of people outside, walking around. Lots of witnesses to see what happened outside. Moving the cam wouldn't help that. Have we heard any witnesses claiming shenanigans outside before or after?

Probably so we don't know what happened

The witness on CNN said it was his first time eating at Comet and that he came with his wife and children he said he had read the conspiracy theories same as the other guy he also said he came because he was curious about what was going on.

He also stated that he did not see a gun or hear any gunfire and he was dining inside.

He then went on to say "someone kinda signaled to me that this was an active shooter"

I am not making this stuff up.

Have any links to posts he made prior to him doing his thing?

I've been looking to see what kind of online activity this guy contributed and so far am coming up empty. His couchsurfing profile had not been logged in to in 6 years. His facebook page is somewhat sparse. His girlfriend's FB page has several pictures of the two of them but she hasn't posted anything since Oct 22.

In looking through his FB page, he doesn't really seem like the type to go off the deep end over this.

I listened to a lawyers interview on inforwars, not so much to get Jones' take but to hear this guy out since he was at the pizza shop when the 'gunman' came in.

the guy telling his account left out and messed up a lot of details, especially for a lawyer. you'd have to find the video interview to get it all, but a few facts were that this lawyer...

"heard about the stories and wanted to check out the place for himself - so he brought his wife and kids"
"he noticed the guy walk in, but never visual verified a firearm however he could tell he was concealing something'
"the "gunman" approached an employee and went to the back room"
"no gun shot was heard"
"ushered out of shop because of the active shooter very calmly"

the lawyer goes on to say that the gunman had a shotgun (note he never saw a gun) and ordered the employee to unlock the basement door. when the employee failed to comply, he blasted the lock with his shotgun.

the lawyer then got on a rant with Jones about Palestine and how Muslims are treated so whatever that was about. then AJ offered the guy a job as a reporter?

anyhow, none of these statements, stories, facts, pseudo-facts, fake news, vetted news, or camera tell the same story. I bet if you ask a family who was supposedly there eating that day what was on their pizza, you'd get different answers... pepperoni, no mushrooms, no it was cheese.

interesting

so he has his testimony along with some other info they told him.

Maybe he was a lurker.

The OP made mention of a VOAT discussion thread in which someone said the turning of the camera was suspicious and that maybe something was about to happen. He does not necessarily need to have been a contributor to that discussion to have been moved to action by that discussion.

Ok fine. Someone, anyone from the block could have turned it as a prank. Then someone turned it back. Suspicious? If you want to believe so, but not for me.

Your threshold for suspicion is set way too high.

So your theory is the shooter read a thread about the traffic camera now facing a pole, he then took that as a sign as #### hitting the fan in Comet, and flew to comet ping pong, heroically rushed in straight to the back room to save kidnapped children from the basement after seeing the thoroughly debunked fictions conspiracy theory he then gave up his AR-15 style Assault Rifle?

He didn't need to "take it as a sign". In the discussion thread about the camera, people were outright saying that the moving of the camera away from Comet Ping Pong could mean that something might soon be happening there. Others on that discussion board had already "taken it as a sign". He may have simply been acting on the leads of those others.

Besides, I think the guy himself might be a little unhinged -- considering his explanation for firing two shots from his gun in the restaurant was that he was "self-investigating" allegations about the restaurant.
