50 billion dollars to invest and the CEO says they would have NEVER done this is Trump would not have been elected.

Trump: Softbank agrees to invest $50B in US Trump: SoftBank agrees to invest $50B in US 58 Mins Ago | 02:59 Donald Trump said on Monday that Japan's SoftBank agreed to invest $50 billion in the U.S., aiming to create 50,000 jobs. He announced the deal after meeting with SoftBank CEO Masayoshi Son, a Japanese billionaire and technology investor, at Trump Tower in New York. On Twitter, Trump claimed that Son said he "would never do this" if Trump had not won the presidential election. The $50 billion will come from a $100 billion investment fund set up with Saudi Arabia, according to Dow Jones

more...I mean, he is not even in office.

SoftBank owns about 80 percent of telecom company Sprint and bought British chipmaker ARM Holdings earlier this year. Son told reporters in New York that he arranged the meeting with Trump and likes him "very much."

I have a feeling that Apple is coming back to the US....

It's great to have a President (elect) that isn't a complete doormat and actually gets things done. It really looks like he's done more for the economy in a month than Obama did in 8 years.

The $50 billion will come from a $100 billion investment fund set up with Saudi Arabia, according to Dow Jones.

All good there.

The investment will come through acquisitions so how that will lead to 50,000 jobs remains to be seen.
Not sure this is a reason to celebrate but as there are no details who knows what the deal involves.

I'm sure there is some "Fine Print" somewhere. Remember how good it was when Reagan "Let the Bulls Run" and reversed the Tax code on little ol you and me? Worked for a couple of years and it is now Our nightmare. I'm sure this will be the same, if it works at all.

Now the insults...

there is a specific group of people this news has to appeal to. which is why trump added "the ceo would never have done this if trump wasnt president" .

no need for details.
just like the tax cut guaranteed to that factory which he saved 1000 jobs

This is a good sign when the president elect is guaranteeing tax cuts and kickbacks before assuming office. i wonder what he promised softBank... nah i dont really. id rather see it unfold.

It's funny, how many people hate the idea of new jobs and Americans working.

Actually, it's pretty pathetic.

Why would you want the American people to slave away when they could be living a relaxing lifestyle of welfare?

*Joke Warning*

I'm amazed that they do. Can we go back to the respect and dignity that we had before the welfare state? And by that I mean that welfare was something Americans were reluctant to take.

you are free to harbor as much hate as you like, but why exactly is it you would like the US economy to fail? Hell, even if Obama had sex with Hillary, and the putrid offspring became the president of the US, I would want good things for the people.

Have a nice day.

Just like everyone laughed at him running. Just like they laughed at the debates. The first primaries. Then the nomination. Then the presidential debates. All saying it would not work.

He is not even in office and the largest industries in the world are coming to him. This company came to him and it is a large long term investment. Business people make money...politicians just spend it.

The reason were losing jobs is because of high taxes and regulation.

Cut ther egulation, get rid of high taxes and let people prosper.

That's what makes our nation rich.

Now high taxes and big government but wealthy populace and limits government.
