I was out with my buddy yesterday and he is still giddy about Trump winning the election and was talking about how crazy the Democrats like Obama, Pelosi and others sound. I realized that he didn't yet understand what we are really fighting and why Democrats and even most Republicans sound like idiots and keep taking actions that don't make sense.

The actions of the Establishment Dems and Repubs make perfect sense if you understand their Globalist agenda. They don't put America first because they actually want America to be knocked down a few pegs. They want us to NEED Government and they want us to have to work with the U.N. and other Globalist establishments. They hate the idea of American exceptionalism and they don't care that people in the U.S. don't have jobs and have a lower standard of living than a decade ago.

FOLKS...this is their plan and is by design.

We are not fighting Left Vs. Right. We are fighting Libertarian/Nationalist ideas Vs. Authoritarian/Globalist ideas. Stop fighting each other and understand the Democrats and most Republicans DO NOT want a stronger, better America. They want to weaken our country through bad trade deals and poor programs like Obamacare.

We are fighting against people that don't want to put America first and that want to take our Freedoms and the enemy is made up of people on both the Right an the Left.

Trump is not one of them and he is actually making choices that will benefit the American people and for this he is called racist, crazy, and hateful. Wake up...this isn't a Republican/Democrat thing it is a freedom thing.

Anyway, I had my friend depressed by the end of our talk, but he understands now that all of the illogical decision and counter-intuitive choices made by our leaders are actually perfectly logical when you remove the assumption that they are trying to work in our best interest.

The moves made by Bush Jr. and Obama made perfect, logical sense.

Many people just don't realize that their goals are NOT yours.

S&F: Very well written OP.
I keep being told that the pendulum swings widely to the left and right.

Why can't it just stand in the middle? Isn't that what would best benefit the American people?

We elect people that should be putting our country first. Every action the President and Congress take should be prefaced with the question is this good for America? If the answer is no then don't do it.

I can tell you this, the housing market is getting shaky here in So Cali. We just sold our Mobile home in Santa Clarita Cali. We wanted to "dump it", so we sold it to a guy who flips houses. He said there is a lot of uncertainty, because of the upcoming Pres(who buy the way, this guy likes). Interest rates are becoming less stable.

We then applied, for a loan on the home we inherited and are moving into, actually we are working with several lenders right now, the feedback we are getting is the housing market, may have peaked right now and again the new Pres, was brought up by 2 out of three of the lenders!

That is what is going on with me right now!

With each election cycle it seems this country gets more divided. Both sides more interested in tearing the other apart than in actually in running the country for the benefit of all.

It's all about obstructing or damaging the opposition. Keeping voter bases viable and blaming the other guys for everything that has gone wrong or will go wrong.

It really doesn't matter what side you're on anymore.

The Evil Globalists, the Authoritarian Left, the Destroy America Cabal of Power Mad Machiavellians.
Enter: Beat the drums of freedom, sound the horns of liberty, hear the gallop of clopping hoofs, the gleaming sword of MAGA held high to our rescue he comes.

American Exceptionalism is a myth, a myth dreamed up by guilt ridden Christians to explain how they have had it so good while much of the rest of the world does not. It is a poor step child of Manifest Destiny. Where one was the dream of responsibility and a rising tide to lift all boats, the other is an excuse to pillage and plunder all who stand in it's way.

Good thread and one I pretty much agree with.

Early on in Obama's administration, when he was appointing all those so-called "czars", one of them really stood out to me because of his philosophy regarding the de-development of America for the purpose of bringing us down, elevating other less developed countries, in order to "level the playing field". (I hate that socialist expression.) John Holdren was the man's name. His appointment should have told Americans just what Obama's ideology regarding the fundamental transformation of America was all about.

It is also consistent with the calls for central planning, deindustrialization and redistribution made in the name of “sustainability” by the acolytes of UN Agenda 21 and the UN climate change agenda that goes with it.

Here 'ya go...John Holdren in his own (radical) words: “De-develop” the U.S. & “reduce” its population?

Stop this ridiculous manipulation of the American people and especially the American workers in the name of a bunch of elitists that believe in a one world government. It is baloney, imo. It is time we recalibrate and remember who we are as individuals and as a sovereign nation. IMO, it is dangerous to give over too much control to the UN. Who are they....really?

Makes sense.

Donald Trump is about to initiate one of the greatest spending sprees the government has ever seen. The biggest.

He's going to build up the military...very expensive..all things military are on the high price end of the commerce scale.

He'd going to initiate a massive infrastructure spending, rebuilding roads, railways, bridges, etc...investing in the future.

The Republicans will probably start a major war. They always do. To get the economy booming. They always blame the Democrats for over-spending and increasing deficits and debts, and claim the Republicans philosophy is less government and less government spending. In fact, while reducing "official spending" they always have some emergency project like a war and do even more spending "off the books".

So, what you're seeing is the financial markets reacting, raising interest rates in anticipation of the "flood of new money" about to come off the printing press, to fund all these expensive projects.

That rise in interest rates is going to hit the housing market hard, because people have become accustomed to "low mortgage rates", and will struggle to pay the loans when the rates rise. Defaults and foreclosures will dump real estate back on the market, depressing house prices, while at the same time people won't be able to buy those homes because of the high rates.

So, it's about right, that prices should be peaking about now.

Trump victory means financial collapse. Trump himself said so. He warned everyone publically about "the bubble" that's about to burst. He famously said he "hoped the bubble would burst before the next administration," because it would be terrible if it burst during the next administration. He knew it would happen under his watch. He is the next administration. And his policies will burst the bubble.

Trump forecasted his own future accurately.

Maybe it's better to ask what you're standing for?

That surely offers more oppertunities than being against things for the sake of confronting them. It's something else entirely if you persue a vision, and it doesn't depress people but rather supports them pursuing their dreams.

Very well typed. "Politics" has the 'division' built into it. That is why Betty Manners keeps telling Us "For polite conversation, One should restrain talking about politics, sex and religion" This is very important because the absolute ONLY way to defeat 'Them" is by coming together to fight the 'non-positive'. The majority of politicians will campaign on making drastic changes and then when they get erected they all of a sudden develop amnesia..
Herr Drumpf hasn't even moved in yet and He is getting blamed for a bunch of crap AND getting praised for crap He had nothing to do with, so basically NOTHING will change..

The folks in the middle will continue to get taxed to death as 'They' continue to try and make "Haves" out of "Have Nots" and using the middle folks' $$$.

From 2008 forward--- Most Republicans had ZERO interest in working with Democrats because Obama was the POTUS now the Democrats will drag their feet and guess who ends up getting screwed???

Yup.. pretty much. The goal has always been to scuttle not only America but the whole West.. level the playing field.

They're playing RISK... they never run out of new disasters to create, they create an endless non stop stream of disasters.. it's their lifeblood.

I agreed with everything in your post until the point you claim that people are disagreeing with Trump because they "need to wake up," and that they don't support "the only candidate," who has the Americans people benefit in mind.

Many people, such as myself, don't support Trump because we see him to be the exact opposite of what many claim him to be and in fact a part of "the establishment." It has nothing to do with him "being a racist," stop playing that damn race card.

Again I agree with essentially everything in your post except there's one catch... rallying against "establishment Republicans," while endorsing an establishment Republican who is surrounding himself with other members of "the establishment."

That's why I don't support Trump. Has nothing to do with "people hating freedom, people not being awake, people calling him racist." If anything Trump represents an approach to negating freedom - to deny this or claim otherwise, is laughable at best.

So what are you whining about? The fact I think our elected officials should put America first? Who are you defending?
