The decision came two days before a court hearing was scheduled in the case. Saturday’s court filing to withdraw the case said the Green Party-backed voters who filed the case “are regular citizens of ordinary means” and cannot afford the $1 million bond ordered by the court by 5 p.m. Monday.
“The judge’s outrageous demand that voters pay such an exorbitant figure is a shameful, unacceptable barrier to democratic participation,” Stein said in a statement. "No voter in America should be forced to pay thousands of dollars to know if her or his vote was counted."

Looks like stein has withdrawn the court case in Pennsylvania...
She says she is going to make a major announcement about further plans on Monday and is going to do so outside Trump tower... Not sure what that is all about.???

If they put the additional cost on Stein she will have no trouble raising the money. The question is: if Trump is so confident he won, why is he trying to stop the recount. Even if the three states could not finish in time to submit their official count, he would still carry the Electoral College. Is he afraid that the real voter fraud will be discovered?

Has more to do with keeping the integrity of the elections than any fraud methinks.
He's the one who said they'd be rigged!

Because the recounts were triggered at the last minute and threaten the ability of the electoral college to do their job on the 19th December.
Even if the three states in question are unable to vote in the College, Trump would still win.

No one would win as no one would be at 270 electoral college votes.

U.S. District Judge Mark Goldsmith asked Stein attorney Mark Brewer to explain what the harm is in waiting until Wednesday, as planned, especially after Brewer conceded that the recount could still likely be completed by Dec. 13 if started Wednesday, though it would take more money and resources.
