The Republicans in the House and Senate dont have super majorities. Super majorities means they have enough members to pass legislation without needing votes from the other party. The Senate is close and the Republicans have like a 34 seat majority in the House.

Its a great day, isn't it? I feel like a dark cloud has been lifted from this country and that there's finally a reason for some hope moving forward. I honestly don't think this country could have survived another four years like the last eight, especially not under Hillary, who I find to be the most awful and corrupt human being I've ever seen run for high office in this country. I thank God she did not win.

The Senate is 51-49, if they vote along party lines they don't need a single Democrat vote. It requires party line voting, but they'll get it more often than not.

Well done the Donald the only independent winner in US Politics who can apologize for some of the big past Gaffs.
