Actually, while many wanted Trump to win, at least, moreso than Clinton, I'd say most of us thought Hillary would win, one way or another.

This is either vindication...or a controlled appeasement. Time will tell.

I hope he is what he purports to be, but it all just seems too perfect. The obvious down down downfall of Hillary, Trump as "The Outsider" - with his long-standing Clinton ties. A nation on the brink desperate for an outsider - any outsider to break the chains.

We can give it a shot and go from there. If Russia and the US could get along I think we could solve a lot of problems. With that being said it is a 2 way road and Putin will have to reach out as well. There is a difference between working together and demanding the US accept Russias point of view without compromise / questioning.
