I knew that Byrd had a rep for being the ATS expert on ancient stuff... and after this interview I can see why. I for one am impressed! It was a great read, thanks guys!

Thank you! The Koch brothers say your check is in the mail.

Augustus & Byrd that was awesome!
How in the world you have spare time for anything is beyond me but I'm so glad you are a member of ATS!

Glad you liked it.

And I have free time because I have a personal assistant. I told Byrd to get one too.

Funny stuff! Seriously that many degrees?

Wow!

If Byrd were a dude that would be seriously hot.

I even had it wrong in the intro, her brain could run Skynet if we wanted it to.

Yes. Finished one and got the diploma from that university two days ago. Tomorrow I'm going to talk to a local university about getting a geology degree with some training in GIS (which should actually be easy, since I'm a retired computer geek and helped people learn early GIS stuff.) We've got a paleo dig where I'm a volunteer shovelbum once a week and they need to map where they're finding stuff.

If you've lived through eleven presidential election cycles since you were old enough to vote, most state universities will give you a waiver so that you only have to pay for books and student fees and you can take ANY class (or audit it) for free.

I qualify.

They're never getting rid of me.

Seriously.

One day I'm going to be as smart as you. That day is probably like 1,200 years from now, but with enough blood of the innocent's, Set willing, I'll make it.

I frankly don't trust any of you anymore. You have a terrible track record adhering to my anal retentive formatting requirements.

...you triple-posted the bio.

I think my flashy-thingie needs adjusting. Have you seen my flashy-thingie? It's very nice. I've got it right over there...

Is all the flashing over? Did I miss it? Will there be more flashing?

And no, Augustus, you don't count. Seeing as you consider flashing to be normal behavior, it's lost it's luster.

I've missed some interesting interviews during my respite.
I'm reading backwards (as usual) so it may take me awhile to catch up (as if).
Thanks Augustus for your thread!

I didn't want her to do it but she tricked me.

She's smart you know.

It wasn't that jerkweed, it was something she kept calling 'la-gic'. I figured it was like magic and let it be.

I've only read a couple of interviews so far, but this is a highly entertaining thread. It gives some insight behind the screen name, and keeps it humorous at the same time. Off to read some more...
