Comey testified to the Congressional committee that Hillary had CLASSIFIED e-mails on her unsecured home computer (server) but she wasn't, for lack of better words, mentally capable of understanding the significance of it. Therefore, no prosecution was recommended.

If Comey had found x number of NEW classified e-mails in the 650,000 that were just reviewed, the verdict would have been the same.

In that context, re-opening her investigation October 29th didn't make any sense.

and Hillary`s old she isn`t going to get any better at comprehending why classified info should be treated as such, if anything she is only going to worse as she gets older.old people become senile and do stupid stuff.

The pro Hil crowd in full force in this thread. At least if she wins, we won't have to read any more of your doodoo on ATS anymore and threads won't be full of BS lies. So I guess we'll see you guys around 2018/19 when the re-election comes into play. Til then, enjoy your Clinton dynasty while it lasts. One term? Yup.

I don't like the thought of desperate people.
I doubt that there would be any kind of protest when she wins anyway.
There will be griping like always.

Now what?

Now it's done.
Move on.

The trumpets will not let it go, they plan 20 more investigations that go nowhere.

And who pays for those?

Exactly.

At least they pay their share too. Well except the standard bearer who doesn't pay taxes because he's smart.lol

And if the rabbit hadn't stopped for water, the turtle wouldn't have won the race.

So IF Hillary hadn't been dishonest, Comey would be an unknown name.

The key to the charges involving Hillary are intent. Dishonesty would signal intent. If anything, that means Hillary hasn't been dishonest.

yeah she first said she didn't send or receive classified info then comey said yes she did. she said she used one device only the fbi said she used multiple devices she said she turned over all work related emails and the fbi said they found emails that were work related that she didn't turn over. she said none of the emails had classification marked on them the fbi said a few did. Yeah you're right she's honest.

Not that smart since the Clinton Foundation is under criminal investigation. Next time Bill and Hill shouldnt use a charity as a slush fund. Hillary also used the same tax deductions Trump used.

Why are you guys silent on that fact? Hmmmm.........

FBI Director Comey has notified Congress of news about the continuing investigation !!!

Bombshell:

Nothing new found !!!

Now What ?

FBI Director Comey says agency won’t recommend charges over Clinton email

FBI Director James B. Comey notified key members of Congress Sunday afternoon that after reviewing all of the newly discovered Hillary Clinton emails the agency stands by its original findings against recommending charges.

Comey wrote that investigators had worked “around the clock” to review all the emails found on a device used by former congressman Anthony Weiner that had been sent to or from Clinton and that “we have not changed our conclusions expressed in July.”

Not to be the one to be like, still something is up but clearly, something is up.

In regards to what is already known about her and what has recently been found, it is clear that there is wrongdoings going on.

Money paid to the right people goes a long way.

There is a real risk that your country burns. The best you can hope for is a new country similar to the ideals of the old USSR.
However, here is a hopeful message.
Many of the people voting for Clinton are only doing it to stop Trump (or so they say).
If all those people and Trump supporters can come together after the election, when Trump is no longer in the picture, to work on removing Hillary from office then there is a common cause that unites a big majority. You will know the true enemies of freedom and humanity a couple of weeks after the election. They'll be the people still cheering Hillary.

Do you really think we would all agree on who should replace her? Those who want Bernie are going to be shouted down by those who want an ultra conservative, or those who want an ultra libertarian.

There's no such thing as a common interest with a country this diverse.

True that, but if half the people voting for Hillary are only doing it to stop Trump, then including the 3rd party voters, about 75% of the country will be united in not wanting Hillary. That is at least a starting point for some kind of coming together in what is a very dangerous division as it stands.

Force her out of office. For the 75% anyone is going to be better than Hillary. I bet Trump supporters would bite off the hand that offered them Sanders over Clinton. In fact, but for the DNC cheating, Sanders would be about to be elected President on Tuesday.

According to the law that governs mishandling of classified information (can't recall it off the top of my head, but I read it quite thoroughly the first time around), she should be being brought up on charges. Just because the FBI director claims that there's nothing there, and that 'no reasonable prosecutor' would try the case does not mean that (a) he should be taken at his word, and (b) that there isn't some behind-the-scenes motive driving his decision.

The possibility that he is correct in the first decision isn't even statistically significant, so the fact that he has doubled down shows that something else is going on.

The bottom line is that it is proven that she has lied under oath, continues to lie, and that she mishandled classified information--whether by design or negligence, it doesn't matter, because the law does not say that said mishandling must be intentional.

This is why federal employees MUST undergo training on this stuff annually--there is no excuse for it.

Comey is covering for her--the question is why? I think that it goes well beyond ideology or some superficial D.C. friendship.

The sad thing is there actually is a conspiracy here.

FBI director intervening at the 11th hour to try and subvert the course of a US presidential election by releasing spurious non-existent 'damning intel' received from Russian state hackers?

That's a huge conspiracy, it's dodgy as all heck. And yet it will be totally lost amongst the awful partisan flag-waving.

I mean, doesn't it bother anybody else that an FBI director intervened so directly in the course of an election campaign by giving oxygen to non-existent rumours and innuendo from the Russian state security services?!

of course they were duplicates, cause they were planted there, minus the nefarious stuff that got deleted.
The email scandal just wasn't going away and more investigations were prospective, so they cooked up the whole Weinergate ruse and leaked it to the Daily Mail for the FBI to conveniently find.
