FBI Director Comey says agency won’t recommend charges over Clinton email

FBI Director James B. Comey notified key members of Congress Sunday afternoon that after reviewing all of the newly discovered Hillary Clinton emails the agency stands by its original findings against recommending charges.

Comey wrote that investigators had worked “around the clock” to review all the emails found on a device used by former congressman Anthony Weiner that had been sent to or from Clinton and that “we have not changed our conclusions expressed in July.”

What the hell is going on.....

Comey said that the data on the laptop offered no new information which would change the original assessment about her mail server.
Or did I get that wrong?

I don't think he was ever the bad guy...
To me, he seems like a decent guy doing his job and put in horrible positions...

He is definitely affecting the election...
I don't know why or what his intentions are but his behaviors are adversely affecting the Clinton campaign...

This was confusing and beyond damaging to Hillary's campaign...


As was his peculiar announcement last week...
Comey is not a bad guy IMHO...just a confused guy perhaps out of his depth in his current position...
Perhaps his is an example of the Peter principle playing out...

You know it and I know it but nothing's changed here.

This has nothing to do with the Clinton Foundation case.

Reports are that Comey was under tremendous pressure to be obedient before the election.
But I am sure they are not done yet.
The Clinton Foundation is the bigger case.
And who knows what will happen with the other revelations?

Comey said they were duplicates of what they've already seen.
Or personal.

Actually, Comey only said:
"we have not changed our conclusions expressed in July.”

He never said she was innocent, quite the opposite.
He only said that no prosecutor was going to prosecute.
And from what we know of the DOJ, that's certainly true.

He did not say she was innocent this time either.
