FBI Obtains Warrant to Search Huma Emails

The FBI obtained a warrant to search emails related to the Hillary Clinton private server probe that were discovered on ex-congressman Anthony Weiner's laptop, law enforcement officials confirmed Sunday.

The warrant came two days after FBI director James Comey revealed the existence of the emails, which law-enforcement sources said were linked to Weiner's estranged wife, top Clinton aide Huma Abedin.

The FBI already had a warrant to search Weiner's laptop, but that only applied to evidence of his allegedly illicit communications with an underage girl.

Well, they've got a lot on their hands with 650,000 emails. Those emails are either from a LOT of different people, or Weiner signed up for one to many unmentionable sites and has a hell of a spam box.

Of course, there's no way they will be finished by the election. What this does mean is that there was enough evidence found that a judge signed off on the warrant and the emails are not just "duplicates". And with 650,000, it's probably more than just a handful that will affect Hillary.

Meanwhile, on Twitter there is a journalist who is saying that Comey has been "quietly talking to members of Congress as pressure mounts". He didn't clarify what that means.

650'000 emails, I would hazard a guess that is a server backup.

Does anyone know how many gb's worth that would be roughly?

Surely that would nearly max out a laptops memory, especially if it was an older model.

I seriously doubt that Hillary`s protégé was using an "old" laptop, with all the wall street dollars Hillary has backing her I`m sure her protégé had only the best and most expensive laptop money can buy.

If either one of those 2 were POTUS and the other his VP, the US would be a well-respected force to be reckoned with. I cannot emphasize enough how much they impress me - total stand-outs in US politics......they're righteous, assertive, sharp, full-bottle on the Constitution, believers of the law and that no-one is exempt from it.

WHY TF were the American people denied folks such as these on the ballot? Gowdy and Chaffetz are miles ahead of Hills and Trump in every facet of being POTUS???????

I couldn't agree more. Just this afternoon I had my husband watch you tube videos of him on the Benghazi hearings.

Sadly, he had never heard of him before but, he knows about him now so, it's a start.

So, it's payback, na nan na nana, for someone who was already president, and who who was up to his eyeballs in the original events...from his own diaries!! Not only that, he had already done a bit of pardoning of other crooked merchants of the same affair along the way. Not withstanding that, his indicted case got thrown out anyway. Oliver North went to the poky for a short time, even though he was actually on the make for himself as well. Hilarious stuff, that you or your folks helped pay for.
