You think Gov. Cuomo is gonna let that happen to the Clintons?

Megyn Kelly (who I dislike and usually avoid her show, but I am trying to get info from all sides right now)....
just said something about hidden video regarding the split between the FBI and the DOJ.
I am intrigued.
She said its coming up next.

She says this is the source:
Secret Recordings Fueled FBI Feud in Clinton Probe
It requires a subscription to read that one.

If you go to the WSJ FB page and click on the link there, you can read the entire article.

If you want me to PM you the full text, I am happy to do that.

ETA: Actually, I went ahead and did that.^

Comey said that Hillary is too dumb to know when she's breaking the law, violating security protocols, etc.. So, NATURALLY she doesn't KNOW that she did anything wrong.

I think she believes shes bending but no breaking rules or thinks, because so much of this goes on, she can also. But she has pushed it past the boundary.

Excellent point.
Preet Bharara.
He does not back down from powerful people. He won't be intimidated.
He fights political corruption.

The person said investigators are zeroing in on the main offices in New York City. They’ll be helped by various U.S. attorneys, including Preet Bharara, who is stationed out of the Southern District of New York.

Report: FBI Is Now Investigating The Clinton Foundation
I think that Clinton should be afraid, very afraid

We might actually have some justice.

This is not a room where the sly or evasive can hide, much less morally leukemic billionaires, Chinese gangland shooters, bare-knuckle traders or rainmaking political bosses. All of whom Bharara has indicted, including some members of the Democratic Party that appointed him.

Not that he cares. You know what doesn’t scare him?

“Guys in suits,” he says. “Politicians? Not scary.”

Bharara’s aggressive prosecutions are earning him a reputation as a fiercely effective and limelight-loving figure in an office already legendary as the strongest arm of the Justice Department. “A petulant rooster,” defense attorneys called him in a recent court filing on behalf of an accused inside trader.
...
No target is apparently too big for him.
...
“Everyone should understand that our motivation is always to do the right thing, and we don’t pull our punches, and we don’t care who you are,” Bharara says, unapologetically.
...
“There are too many people who think that if you are powerful and you are rich then you get a bye, and you get treated with kid gloves,” he adds. “That’s not true here, and we work really hard to make sure people know that’s not true.”
...
Since then, he has indicted 17 prominent New York politicians for malfeasance — 10 of them Democrats. In January, he charged Sheldon Silver, the powerful Democratic speaker of the state Assembly, with extortion and bribery.

The brash New York prosecutor who’s indicting left and right

I like this guy

Yes.

But here's the wild card - the NYPD. If the crimes also broke state laws (i.e. NY) DOJ has no say. Local NY DA makes the call.

The question was regarding the FBI's investigation. The NYPD is free to hold their own investigation and recommend the empanelment of a Grand Jury. This also can be declined by the New York District Attorney if they choose.

This has gone *way* beyond Cuomo's ability to do anything. And never underestimate a pissed off and energized NYPD

Especially so since Cuomo is currently embroiled in multiple ethical scandals/investigations himself. About - guess what?

Pay to play!!

LOL!!!

This has gone from amazing to breathtaking in a few short days. I hope people are paying attention as this is an epic series of events unfolding. As for me - I finally found a use for the 1000's of GB's of cloud storage I have but have never needed.

And then there's Preet Bharara - a US Attorney that will back the FBI on the federal side, I firmly believe .

Who determines if a Grand Jury is warranted?

(Thanks, by the way)

Thank you!!!

Just to clarify, does Lynch have to be the one to determine an indictment?

A Grand Jury determines an indictment.

Then the target gets arrested and arraigned.

Then they make a plea bargain or go to trial.

So Step #1, the FBI can only recommend and indictment. What's step #2?

The Justice Dept has the final say usually.

But a rouge prosecutor might be able to call a Grand jury.

New York has been investigating the Clinton Foundation for a long time too.

You actually have to think about all that?

Yeah... I'm really trying hard to figure it out. I mean don't you agree? 9/11 is the most epic huge failure in judgment and epic huge failure in national security. I mean there's so much there... and a HUGE body count. So much impact! But where was the outrage from all these patriotic Republicans? These badasses that never stop-- always in search of the truth. Where were the relentless investigations? Where was the badass truth seeker FOX during all that? After all those failures how did those badass Republicans allow Bush a second term???? They must have been FURIOUS!

I try hard to figure out the difference. Because emails with no fire seems very small potatoes in comparison--- but somehow that's what woke them all up? I just don't get it...

I think it's not a matter of comparison. It is a matter of unwillingness to tolerate any longer such a spiral of corruption.

Yeah not buying that excuse. Seems pretty convenient. And let me guess, once Trump is president we go back to ignoring the big bad stuff until the next dem shows up. That about right?

This is just partisan B.S. and 9/11 is the proof. Bush is proof. The Iraq war is proof. Nobody gives a F about emails. It's all just fake Republican outrage.

It seems you're the only one here who doesn't "give a F about emails".

Convenient as hell for you and your position - but flat out not true.

But these "Nobody gives a F" emails are going to bring a *lot* of high level people down. Very quickly. I can't believe how quickly this thing is gaining momentum. It is now beyond any individual or single group's control.

And that is a VERY good thing for this country.

Let it play out - it's time for the scum to be held accountable.
