I keep hoping that we'd get a conservative politician that knows how to truly engage the black community. Rand Paul did ok, but didn't have the backing (He went to Howard U and did well against a somewhat hostile audience).

When I look at the issues that are of great concern to me as black man, there is no way I can support Democrats. I'd venture most blacks know this in their hearts, but are so blinded by distrust of whites and invested in racism as a crutch, that we vote against our own best interest.

Illegal Immigration. Lower income blacks have seen the effects as this is who these low skilled immigrants are usually competing against for jobs.

Public Education. Democrats could careless that the school system is failing the black community because Democrats hold the teachers union in higher regard. Blacks often break ranks with Democrats when it comes to charter schools and school choice. However, the black leadership has been so corrupted, you even have the NAACP coming out against charter schools.

Trumps populism should resonate with the black community. Why are we spending billions on illegal immigrants when we could be spending that money on these depressed black communities? Why are we spending billions helping Syrians when we could be helping our own people?

So his plan to appeal to the African American community is to just continue appealing to his base? That hasn't been doing great for him so far.

Seems like you don't need my input as you've filled in my answers for me with standard right wing talking points! Thanks!

Ignoring that - I do have a couple of ideas to help with the issues in inner cities....

1) Raise wages to fall in line with the cost of living and inflation.
2) Undo decades of gerrymandering so that the people who live there have a fair say in their representation.
3) Train law enforcement to stop profiling, incarcerating and murdering inner city males at unfathomably disproportionate rates.
4) End the senseless war on drugs and begin a policy of education and treatment rather than the current punitive approach.
5) Normalize the ridiculous and long standing Jim Crow policies in education to ensure that inner city schools are equal in funding and resources as their suburban counterparts.
6) Educate the general public about the realities of the problems facing the inner city so that people don't go around with the kinds of misinformed ideas that are represented by your list.

You won the internet when you said undo decades of gerrymandering. This and term limits pretty much gives the U.S political system the revolution it needs. Drumpf not needed.

Yup. The same Donald Trump who was sued by the DOJ for being a racist, you know, denying the black community housing because they are black.

The same Donald Trump who took out a full page ad in a major newspaper to persuade the public into killing 5 innocent black teens who still to this day assumes they're guilty even though not only have they been found innocent but we're also paid out millions of dollars for false imprisonment.

Just two examples of what a racist Donald J. Trump could bring to the black community.

Btw, Trumps father was a member of the KKK.

You mean there aren't enough cops on the streets to keep us from killing each other?

In 2015 about 6,000 black people were killed by black people.

258 were fatally shot by police.

You don't seem to get it, just like Trump doesn't seem to get it.

The African American community doesn't see not enough cops as the core issue they are worried about right now. One of the biggest protest movements right now is BLM, which is protesting police officers racially profiling and using unnecessary force against African Americans.

For Trump to come out and say "we need more cops" shows that he isn't laying out this plan to attract African American voters...he is using it to attract White voters who think African Americans need to be controlled.

If you think I'm wrong, watch the polls in the coming days and you'll see how Trump doesn't get a spike in African American support.

Chicago needs 3 cops on every street corner right now until that crap hole can be fixed up.

But more than anything they need the local citizens to stand up for their own community!!

Most African Americans won't even consider voting for Donald Trump, no matter what he says.

But when the murder, unemployment, drug abuse, etc.. rates get no better under Clinton, at least Donald Trump will know in his mind/heart that he at least offered up a plan. Those of us who are his supporters will know this too.

Sometimes the pain-threshold is so high, that things have to get much worse before a people or community demand help.

Trump is not racist. No one has ever come up with proof of that.
The racism label was given by the Clinton-controlled media.

Wanting to protect our borders is not racist, it is common sense.
Wanting to control immigration from areas brainwashing terrorists to kill us is also common sense.

Are you talking about the term limits on government officials that Trump has said he will impose?
Yes - good idea.
There is no way in the world that Clinton is going to do that. All of her cronies are in the business as a career.

You might want to change your outlook on life or alter your perception of reality before forming such strong views.

Just some friendly advice. First search first page....not gonna post em all.

Donald's "New Deal for Blacks" isn't really FOR blacks.

He's trying to appeal to voters who may be on the fence, but concerned about allegations that he may be racist. Hint: this doesn't help.

He's also appealing to his core, as with most everything he does or says.

I can't imagine black voters will find any of these suggestions compelling.

The subject has been discussed on dozens of threads here, and I have seen the unfounded accusations in the MSM, as well as the crowds with the signs (pushed by Creamer and Soros backed funding.)

Nothing I have ever seen convinces me that Trump is racist.

Perhaps you should look into what he did in Florida, convincing the racist town council to allow blacks and Jews into his golf club. There is proof everywhere, but Trump does not pander and make a big deal out of it.

Clinton is the racist. She panders while holding hate in her heart for anyone who she feels is beneath her.

That's the point. Trump's message is for ALL Americans. All Americans will benefit from a stronger economy and a safer country. He does not pander to blacks like Clinton does. Trump treats everyone equally.

Why do people keep thinking that there must be a different set of rules or privileges or policies for blacks? Isn't that kind of backwards thinking?

Except he's not even attempting a legitimate outreach to blacks. Calling it a "New Deal for Blacks" is BS. It's a last ditch effort to appear inclusive and appeal to the same fraction of the population who nominated him.

And here I thought it was just simply the United States of America.

But apparently there's an "America"..... and there's a "Black America".

I think I'm finally starting to understand what the problem is.

It's all about perspective.

Trump "will do for" vs what Hillary "will to to".

Today, the amazingly energetic Donald J. Trump promised something that NO DEMOCRAT has cared enough to attempt, in decades. Our next President proposed and detailed a critically important "NEW DEAL FOR BLACK AMERICA".

Story: www.nbcnews.com...

It's a damn shame that Barack Hussein Obama completely ignored the/his Black community after receiving their votes. Now, Hillary Clinton is following in his footsteps.. She's blindly assuming that because she's a Democrat, and was endorsed by Barack Obama, the African American community will "fall in line" like good little mindless minions, and cast their 16 million votes for her, like they did for Obama in 2012.

This cycle, open-minded Black Americans who refuse to be FOOLED AGAIN, are indeed going to give Donald Trump a try. As you can see from this video of boxing promoter DON KING introducing Donald Trump to a church filled with Black ministers and community leaders in Ohio last month, important segments of the community are tired of being lied to, screwed by, and ignored by, DEMOCRATS that they voted for!

Don King Introduces Donald Trump (C-Span Video): www.youtube.com...

For obvious reasons, the "old guard" community leaders like Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, along with the NAACP, are not in Donald Trump's corner. But what's most telling, is that they are not out there at rallies raising Hillary's arm to roaring crowds of supporters either. Probably because they know Hillary is lying when she exclaims, "I ain't in no ways ever tired of fightin for youuu!" in Black churches. In 30 years, she's done NOTHING for no one except herself, Chelsea, and Saudi Arabian women abusers.

-CareWeMust

No thanks!!! We dont want a "new deal"! Equality is good enough thanks!!!
