I've lived alright. I have the battle scars to prove it, physically mentally and emotionally. It isn't all sunshine and rainbows, but there is still much beauty and love to experience yet. I hope so anyway. Nice song!

Found this cute little dragon earlier, eagerly awaiting Santa to fall down that chimney

I'm planning on doing a bit more writing later, slowly get Darien and Kaelci out of their predicament in the other realm and get them back to the Shed. Like they should have been ages ago! But, alas. I feel bad that I can't assist with Syx's battle, with my slack writing they won't be back to the Shed til after Christmas!

(I know, I could just magic them out, but, have a little arc planned where Sita is dealt with once and forever, hooray! Just, when I get my butt into gear, haha.)

I'm at the end of a heatwave at the moment, after a week of high 30s and low 40s, tomorrow is due to only be 25! Looking forward to it!! *waves a folded piece of paper wildly as a makeshift fan*

(I have air conditioning. But only when desperate. Hastily folded paper fan will suffice for now.)

The sad thing is that there are responsible pet owners with pets that aren't destructive and there are those who don't care about fleas or their animals chewing and scratching woodwork and wires etc. As a home owner, you can understand their point, but as a responsible pet owner like us, we resent having to suffer because of everyone else. Dave and I were talking about something similar recently, because I would LOVE to have pets here, I dream of a fluffy german shepherd, or a cat purring by my side.. but alas, most houses these days are pet unfriendly.

The thing is, obviously these people accept children into their rentable houses! And in my experience so far, kids are a lot more destructive than animals. If a home-owner allows kids, they should allow pets. In my humble opinion.
