If some one shows upto a voting place with a gun or weapon, they should be arrested IMO including the link you provided. Eric Holder is to blame with this dropping of charges?

so what they did was ok?
but they didnt volunteer apply and be appointed like those the press resease was aimed at correct?

I didn't say what they did was OK. But it is not up to you or me. They were charged and there was an outcome.

The University of PA Poll Watcher who said he felt intimidated stated, "I have a Poll Watcher ID and I can go back in there." Then he went back in there. You are making too much of this one odd incident.

The one with the weapon has an injunction against him. Did you want him hung? He didn't assault anyone.

Go complain to the DOJ.

the way hill supporters tell it there is no "hoard of trump supporters"
but why not attempt to supress americans from civic duties

Trump will get at least 39% of the popular vote. That is A LOT of people.

Again, people who want to be poll watchers are free to apply at their local polling place and to accept the instruction of the leadership there with regard to how watchers are expected to behave.

At issue isn't poll watchers. It's people driving around with no official designation, jurisdiction, or instruction, on a mission of their own design.

Why do you keep repeating this nonsense?

Legally appointed poll watchers are not the problem.

" What do you think Trump meant when he suggested that HIS SUPPORTERS (who are mostly white) should go into "those neighborhoods" to monitor the polls? This is dog whistle for "If you show up and harass people at the polls, we can suppress voter turnout in traditionally Dem neighborhoods."

That is your Personal take on it , sounds a " Tad " Implied Racism to me . A Better Idea would be to have the Local Off Duty Police Officers be Poll Watchers , they Don't Intimidate Anybody Nowadays ....

Just a tad?

Listen, Trump knows damned well his only chance to pull out a victory is to get tremendous turnout of party loyalists (which is why he claims the polls are rigged) while at the same time suppressing the vote in heavily D voting areas.

Of course, he's also a dim bulb, so he undercuts his own efforts by claiming the VOTE is RIGGED, which actually encourages his supporters to stay home. It seems he didn't really think this through before opening his mouth.

Its not what is stated from breitbart, they made it up and you believe them...

This has been a repeated problem of late: Fake stories on alternative, right-leaning media and people too lazy to click through to the source to do even 4 minutes of vetting.

DoJ is exactly right, such tactics COULD violate federal law!
And probably do.
Hopefully those engaged in such 'despicable' behavior will be arrested and jailed.

His 'voter fraud' is his own spoiled brat lie/delusion!
Another excuse for his failure.

The Republican National Committee did indeed get in trouble for voter intimidation and is now worried that what Trump is urging could be viewed as exactly that.

Remember When RNC Got in Trouble for Alleged Voter Intimidation? They Sure Do

The Republican National Committee issued a warning to its members about engaging in election day activity that is prohibited by a consent decree that the RNC and the Democratic National Committee agreed to decades ago. The decree came about in 1981, after Republican officials allegedly engaged in intimidation tactics against minority voters in the name of “ballot security.” The decree barred the RNC from engaging in various polling-related activities, and now they’re being careful to follow the rules.

RNC General Counsel John Ryder said in a letter to members, instructing them not to engage in any ballot security actions as the election approaches. Ryder warned that people not even engage in ballot security measures in their “personal, state party, or campaign capacity,” and that if they do, the RNC does not sanction it.

If Trump encourages anyone to violate this decree, then the RNC is worried that they will be under this decree for ANOTHER EIGHT YEARS BEYOND, taking them into 2024.

After the 2008 allegation, the RNC asked a court to vacate or modify the decree. The court modified it again, defining “ballot security” as including “any program aimed at combating voter fraud by preventing potential voters from registering to vote or casting a ballot,” defining “normal poll-watch function” as “stationing individuals at polling stations to observe the voting process and report irregularities unrelated to voter fraud to duly appointed state officials, and pointing out that the consent decree expires on December 1, 2017. Should the RNC violate the decree, it will extend for eight years from violation date.

What's coming out as voter and consumer "WARNINGS" now from the DOJ and CNN, will seem like small-potatoes if Hillary Clinton is put in command of our government agencies and Mainstream Media. America will become more like CUBA was, while CUBA is becoming more like America is today. A reversal of roles. We can't allow that to happen.

Vote for Trump if you value your personal freedoms!

Don't you ever get tired of these blatant hyperbolic declarations?

What rot! Trump has promised to undermine more of the Constitution than Clinton would ever dream of ... furthermore, the President is not in charge of any media (more blatant lies) etc.

Clinton is a very capable politician. Trump is a megalomaniac in need of mental health care.

Vote your conscience and see after your own liberties in 2016!

Read a few pages back it was covered.

And

Four years ago was not what was posted, again read a few pages back.

Voter intimidation, by poll watchers or outside the polling location, from EITHER side is disgusting and unacceptable. Is that not something we can all agree on?
