Being on probation isn't exactly being set free.

You belong to the state, but your prison is more subtle.

It sucks that she got screwed up. But she's still responsible for her actions.

I don't think this is about her being a woman as much as it is about her being a 25 yr old with granddaddy issues that "may" be redeemable. I don't agree with the result, I say rules is rules. But it's a more complicated issue.

Well try to explain to modern day progressives the discrimination of men and women and they'll act like they never knew misandry existed. Never the less , the chomo needs to do time end of story, but believe me to many this is still somehow mans fault. # them all, personal responsibility people..

How does possessing photos equate to molestation? Enlighten us on that one.

You didn't think this one through, did you? It's child porn, how is it not a product OF molestation at minimum? Deliberate viewing & seeking of CP simply furthers the underground demand for it, thus child sexual abuse continues.

Ah but I don't think you thought that through also. How can someone be charged with something they never did? By your logic every company that manufactures weapons should be tried of murder and war crimes for all the people that were killed from their product.

But I guess laws and reasoning is there to just pick and choose right?

Yea I do remember alot of girls having crushes on some male teachers and even talking dirty about them. Are you implying I have a childish view? You seem to be the one stuck in a soliloquy. So only males can be predators? That's straight BS. Yea some young men will brag they bagged a female teacher, as will some young women that they could seduce a male teacher. Women generally receive 63% less time than a male for THE SAME CRIME AND THAT'S BS.

Why don't you give the feminists 5 minutes to read about the situation?

I agree that this is wrong. The last line of the story linked in the OP is this:

“Ms. Robinson wasn’t looking at these images for sexual gratification. It was more that she identified with the victims in the case,” Torres said.

Has a man ever been given that consideration? Somehow I doubt it or it's extremely rare.

Bias exists in many ways in all our laws, nationwide. Surely you can see here how inequality is harmful and how it actually exists. Perhaps you shouldn't dismiss claims of it in other areas so easily and maybe things will change.

We all know the double standard comes from Men Sex crimes against Women.

There are generally bias in that argument alone. My cousin spent a weekend at a girls birthday party that he's known for 10 years. The Birthday Girl decided she liked my cousin and invited him to her bed. In the middle of the night, she starts Kissing with him, and while they're making out(both drunk), he hovers his hand over her ******(with clothes on). They are ages 26, and 27. She immediately stands up, turns all the lights in the house on, wakes everyone up, calls the police, presses charges, and now my cousin, who is essentially a virgin, is considered a 'sex offender' and has to pay her $20,000.

Wikipedia

Wachtel and his wife Annie were arrested in 1998 on suspicion of possession of child pornography after illicit images were found on a computer they had taken in for repair. The case against Wachtel's wife was dismissed; Wachtel pleaded no contest and was placed on probation for three years

I guess sometimes they have...
