I know daily I can't hope to know very much of anything at all, and in that regard, lies my true discernment, at the moment....as everything is always evolving. These explanations are mankind driven, by our very limited discernment, and wish to control our environs so we limit our pain and maximize our potential, when we hardly even know what, who or where we came from.....

Sometimes the most perceptive, honest thing is knowing you have little power to discern absolutely anything. Therefore, your mind remains open to all things, cognitively dissonant and paradoxical, until something finally hits you that makes sense. That discernment may be the key to all our struggles for understanding, purpose, randomness and purposefulness, chaos and order....

No. Not all questions are mankind driven. Some are actually driven by God.

While I sincerely appreciate your faith and discernment in that regard, I am not arrogant enough to think I know this. And that's not to say that I see your answer as arrogant, it's simply your belief based discernment system of regard and knowledge. But for me, that's way beyond my discernment. We are communicating as mankind, living in a manipulated by mankind existence. Searching for God is a fine line and slippery slope: In other words, I never think to define that for anyone else in such a definitive manner, for the best discernment I ever got from what God was supposed to mean, was it wasn't up to me to interpret....

Fair enough. I guess it's unrequited love as far as I'm concerned as I couldn't love the god that's described.

Cheer for the love. I'm sure you're a very nice person, love's a strong word tho. If you love everyone then it sort of loses it's magic.

Hey I'm way over fifty.....
What makes people think at certain ages they've got a better, higher grasp than people of a different age. Frankly, your age and where you were born have little to do with it. Anyone and everyone can be awake, aware, attendant and knowledgeable, and strive for discernment. Compartmentalizing people like that is a big part of our current problem.
I'm not a big fan of proselytizing. However, I am quite a big fan of faith....in at least, something, you commit yourself wholly to that enables you to maintain hope, integrity, courage, etc..... Those are very real things, and currently highly undervalued in our digital, cell phone hypnotizing, gaming, virtual synthetic reality world.....

Jonah was sent by Jehovah to Nineveh because of their badness. They were evil people with violence that was natural. Jehovah sent his prophet to a nation that was not Israelite to warn them of their bad behavior.

Jonah did not want to go and boarded a ship in the opposite direction .

When Jehovah created a storm Jonah, a prophet and faithful in Jehovah saw it, he said he was the problem and to through him overboard.

When he was the ship was saved, and a big fish ate him.

His three days in the belly of the big fish was symbolic of how long Jesus would be in death.

When Jonah repented the big fish spit him out on dry land. And he went to Ninevah. And preached in his language.

The king brought him before him and asked what he was saying. When he was told the prophets words, the king repteneded of badness, And made everone in the city to repent.

And God decided not to destroy them. And showed mercy upon a people who did not have no idea of what is truth or justice.

As much as an atheist can at least I guess. I can assure you that as a pervert myself I didn't think you were.

Try not to quote scripture so much, I think it would help your goals. I think it's better to just say what you believe, and then when questioned you can bring up the verses. Your own words may not be better than what the good book says, however far more effective for someone like me who automatically reads scripture with a "bad" heart.
