So here is the article from the NY TIMES

Now who it is and how rich he is doesn't matter, what matters is what company he founded and is the biggest shareholder of and what it does, and the timing of the donation so close to the election. It is this data analysis company Palantir.

This means he has access to data no other Americans have access to, he can see something, most Americans can't see the raw data from multiple sources that bring him to one conclusion, Trump is going to win, and he is going all in to support his guy and what this data is telling him.

Palantir Technologies, Inc. is a private American software and services company, specializing in big data analysis. Founded in 2004, Palantir's original clients were federal agencies of the United States Intelligence Community (USIC). It has since expanded its customer base to serve state and local governments, as well as private companies in the financial and healthcare industries.

Of coarse the founder can run his own custom specialized algorithms for his own personal knowledge too.

So your basic claim here is that because a man has a company based on data processing this means that he has secret information that Trump is going to win?

Aside from the obvious logical flaws inherent there ... should he tell Trump? Trump is whining and crying that the election is rigged against him.

The election is rigged, just not by this guy.

This guy will not have any data that tells him for sure Trump is going to win - no method exists to predict the future with certainty.
Another point to consider is that these guys hedge their bets - precisely because they don't know for sure. It would not surprise me if he has also donated to the Clinton campaign and is playing the odds to ensure he wins either way.

rigged?....trump is such a disgusting a**hole in most peoples eyes, it doesn't have to be rigged. and if you want to speculate on an election being rigged, go back to the 2000 election of bush, where the supreme court chose the president.

I didn't say it's rigged for hillary.
It's rigged by giving us two choices.
The system is fixed.

There are many signs outside of MSM, you know, the people who tell the sheeple that its illegal to research things for themselves and that they need to 'trust them' for the information.

The same MSM proven to be complicit in supporting Hillary and smearing her opponents. SMFH

3 weeks to go.

If Trump wins picture lots of this.

That is statement that is hard to argue against because as you point out a two choice system (which most usually are ) is by its nature rigged in that sense. I would only add that as an unbiased overseas observer, the media machine appears to be totally in favour of a Clinton Democrat Administration, and the thought of a Trump Presidency has the biased establishment quaking in fear.

Most??
Thats funny everywhere i venture on the www I am not seeing this.
On the comments of youtube videos i read hundreds if not thousands of comments supporting trump.
On twitter I see thousands upon thousands of people supporting trump (the amount of pro trump hashtags twitter has been deleted from trending is orwellian)
Facebook is the same again, so much support.
The vids of trumps rallies, yup thousands up thousands of people. Hell the way his supporters cheer you would think they were at a beatle concert.

The only places i see the majority of people against Trump is in the ABSOLUTELY bought and paid for main stream media where they shill harder than CTR for Hillary.

Lol. This is the state of "conspiracy theory." Now you're fawning over the co-founder of a CIA funded big data company that services the entire intelligence apparatus and facilitates domestic spying.

The irony is just too much. Here let me "remind" you of something.

Here's The Secret Document That Banks And Other Big Organizations Are Using To Prepare For Wikileaks

You didn't know that Planatir was involved in a plot to take out WikiLeaks?

Here's one page from the leaked Planatir document:

Potential Proactive Tactics

Feed the fuel between the feuding groups. Disinformation. Create messages around actions to sabotage or discredit the opposing organization. Submit fake documents and then call out the error.

Create concern over the security of the infrastructure. Create exposure stories. If the process is believed to not be secure they are done.

Cyber attacks against the infrastructure to get data on document submitters. This would kill the project. Since the servers are now in Sweden and France putting a team together to get access is more straightforward.

Media campaignto push the radical and reckless nature of wikileaks activies. Sustained pressure. Does nothing for the fanatics, but creates concern and doubt amongst moderates.

Search for leaks. Use social media to profile and identify risky behavior of employees.

If the choice does turn out to be between a con artist or a murder sanctioning psychotic which do you think would be the best candidate? if you don't mind my asking.

Here's some more excerpts from the Palantir document:

Palantir Technologies provides a complete analysis infrastructure

- Core technologies include data integration search and discovery, knowledge management, and secure collaboration

- Palantir is broadly deployed throughout the National intelligence and defense communities

- Palantir is deployed at Fortune 50 companies focused on cybersecurity, counter-fraud operations, and insider threat investigations

A focus on Information Operations (INFOOPS)
— Influence operations
— Social media exploitation
— New media development

WikiLeaks is not one person or even one organization; it is a network of people and organizations acting in concert for the sole purpose of "untraceable mass document leaking."

Together, Palantir Technologies, HBGarg Federal, and Berico Technologies bring the expertise and approach needed to combat the WikiLeaks threat effectively.

In the new age of mass social media, the insider threat represents an ongoing and persistent threat even if WikiLeaks is shut down.

Traditional responses will fail; we must employ the best investigative team, currently employed by the most sensitive of national security agencies.

"Look What He Owns!"

Just embarassing.

thanks mate for your very informative contribution to this thread. It helps reinforce the OP's assertion that Palantir Technologies likely has data (from its anti wikileaks operations) that gives the co-founder of this CIA funded big data company the confidence to back trump with $1.25 million dollars.

Neither really. Depends on who the con artist and the murder sanctioning psychotic is I guess. If Trump was only a con artist, to me he wouldn't be different from any other candidate. The more volatile and arrogant a person is the easier they are to control by the people around them. One of the basic rules of power. And when you vote for Trump, you aren't voting for his ideas on anything, you're voting for the ideas of the advisors he surrounds himself with. That in itself makes him more dangerous than whatever kind of psychotic you believe Hillary is.

With all due respect, I don't think you understand what Palantir does. It offers products and is not in the business of massive data analysis (like a search engine company.)

Here's one of the two tools they sell (this one's the analytical and modeling tool) : www.palantir.com...

Now, with this tool you can do some pretty sophisticated analysis... IF you have access to the databases and know how they're structured (and can match data fields in one database with data fields in another database.) You can't do a thing with free range data (say, from search engines.)

"Free range" data is generally analyzed with text analysis and linguistic tools. If anyone has the "inside skinny" on things, it'd be the giant search engines because they're the ones who have developed the social analysis tools.

That was amusing. A lot of the talk is sales hype (I have some serious doubts that they could get a team in action that quickly unless they had one poised to go), but it does show intent to market a takedown strategy for Wikileaks - their analysis was interesting, though I'm not sure I agree with their assessment of who a typical Wikileaks volunteer is. And their suggested cyberstalking of employees to see what they might be up to is just darn creepy. Yeah, I know it's being done but it's still creepy.
