Are You Enjoying Your ATS Experience Right Now?

Among the political tit for tat threads, WWIII doom porn and basic trolls are you still enjoying your time on ATS? I used to LOVE coming to ATS now I mostly dread coming, although there are still some really amazing threads here and there that remind me what I love about this site.

I keep thinking it is going to get more positive and fun again, but I don't want to give any more energy to the negativity that is WW3 threads and I am certainly not going to support one of these two candidates.

I hope we will return to sanity after the election and hopefully our Government will realize that they need to stop meddling in our lives and in those of others around the world.

Let's get back to aliens, gray area and fun topics ATS!

Ahhh this too shall pass! It always does. I am excited for the election to be over though. I am still enjoying my experience by keeping a good balance of topics I am following. Taking breaks when needed.

I've mostly cut myself off from it. I've pretty much decided my vote, and I am just trying to limit my exposure to cesspool now. It's very draining.

I am waiting for the good doom porn threads to get back in gear. I know they'll kick in when we get closer to the eclipse next year.

I hope Putin hasn't nuked us before then.

Sadly,I think this is going to be the new normal.In all likelihood Hillary will win the election,and we all know how corrupt she is.Will ATS stand idly by while she's president?I don't think so.Denying ignorance is what ATS does best,wherever it may be.2cents.

It's not so much an enjoyment yet as it is an addiction at this time. I come here to see if anyone has sussed out any pertinent information from WikiLeaks. I don't think it can be any other way right now. This election may be mind numbingly painful to watch but it is the most important thing happening right now. The beast that is the global govt is making a move, and while it moves we can see it. This is why we have to be alert right now. It's not every day that we can see the global govt control grid in all it's nastiness.

So no, I am not enjoying it but I do feel a duty to come here to stay abreast of world events as possible. Please do keep coming while we watch an unbelievable event unfold before our eyes this year.

Well the WWIII threads will always be around, and for me I do appreciate staying informed on things I know won't be reported here, I do miss getting more info from people on the ground rather than all these propaganda pieces being mascaraed as gospel here. I will say when I joined the site was much more behaved and seemed much more intelligent or intellectual. It got popular to the point it surpassed GLP as the top conspiracy forum and inherited the loons and trolls so yea...that sucks. I just turn on my internal filters and sift through the live page crap on breaks and when I go out to smoke. Most threads don't get read past the first few posts now lol.

ETA: Moderation seems to have been relaxed a lot more than I remember when joining...and I miss the chat function =(

This is a good thread, thank you Metallicus. I'm fully on board. I even wrote a thread today talking about motivational speeches and it was a positive message but a commentor claimed Motivational Speakers should " Stop telling other people what to do ", and that they "mess up others lives", that was encouraging for me.. to not write a thread for awhile until the election is over since the volume of them drowns anything else out right now

I'm fully impressed with how farhill it has gone lately. I attribute it to what most of us are experiencing in the reality outside of ATS and how absurd and mediatized our society has become - the political separations, the back and forth negativity and frustration, it just puts people in a bad mood, but this is a good thread and I agree - more gray area, fun threads and some more positivity would be nice

About two hours ago I found a thread that mentioned ytube channel blocking. As I know nothing about ytube channel blocking I decided to enter that thread. The member was asking for assistance on how to block a certain channel that annoys him. It was a channel for Alex Jones.

I love the mud pit. ATS as turned into one yugggge mud pit. Who ever wins this election will gloat and throw it up in the face of the losers until the next election rolls around. 8 years of trashing Obama kinda set the stage for more of the same on ATS. Get used to it.

It's more like every 2.5 years because we have 1.5 years of campaigning for a job with a 4 year term. Pretty strange isn't it?

These elections have pitted everyone against one another and it has just been a terrible vibe around here for a while. I think we can get back to the good stuff again but the ongoing saga with Russia will be the next thing we have to worry about even though it should probably be our #1 issue.
