Is there precedence for a nominee to step down? This close to the election.

I just don't want Hillary. Trump has apologized for his comments. For this video to come out when it has, shows me that it was a planned attack on his campaign and to provide distraction. What he said was in poor taste, but he's never gotten anyone killed and lied about it. He wasn't under investigation by the FBI, only to get off free. Other people also made deals with the FBI.
I see the entire system as corrupt and all of these things are put on as a sideshow attraction to entertain people nad make them talk and debate as if any of it really matters.
Here is Donald Trump's statement about the video.
"Here is my statement.
I’ve never said I’m a perfect person, nor pretended to be someone that I’m not. I’ve said and done things I regret, and the words released today on this more than a decade-old video are one of them. Anyone who knows me, know these words don’t reflect who I am.
I said it, it was wrong, and I apologize.
I’ve travelled the country talking about change for America. But my travels have also changed me. I’ve spent time with grieving mothers who’ve lost their children, laid off workers whose jobs have gone to other countries, and people from all walks of life who just want a better future. I have gotten to know the great people of our country, and I’ve been humbled by the faith they’ve placed in me. I pledge to be a better man tomorrow, and will never, ever let you down.
Let’s be honest. We’re living in the real world. This is nothing more than a distraction from the important issues we are facing today. We are losing our jobs, we are less safe than we were 8 years ago and Washington is broken.
Hillary Clinton, and her kind, have run our country into the ground.
I’ve said some foolish things, but there is a big difference between words and actions. Bill Clinton has actually abused women and Hillary has bullied, attacked, shamed and intimidated his victims. We will discuss this more in the coming days.
See you at the debate on Sunday."

You do realize this was a private conversation made eleven years ago? I'm not condoning what Trump said, but the same ones condemning him are the same that are for abortion, are for homosexuals in public pride parades displaying open perversion, including men committing sex acts with men for all to see. These are the same that glorify a whore like Kim Kardashian.
In a nation of over three-hundred-million citizens, it's always the few, often from the same family, which we see running for office. That alone should tell you something isn't right and that in all honesty, we really do not have a choice. There's also no left or right and Republican or Democrat no longer means anything.

trump was a red herring, he probably sold that video recording to the Clinton campaign himself who else would've had it that long

Or the audio part of that video was made very, very recently. Another possibility I thought about. It's interesting that the sleazeball comments were audio-only.
Anyway, it wouldn't surprise me. Trump has worked very hard to strategically help unlikable Hillary seem likable by comparison.
honestly, How else could you get the masses to support Hillary Clinton

The video and sound were fine. He can't say 'my mic wasn't working' for this one.
Someone call Sean Hannity! He'll set everyone straight!

So I am a trump guy.(was a trump guy) I do look over some of his antics and what he does. I just chalk it up to don being don. I saw the video and audio of him degrading a woman. I can't stand anyone who belittles a woman to an object. I know the context of the audio was 2 guys joshing around but Just that he said it the way he said it and the fact it was about a married woman I can't accept.
I will not be voting for Clinton. I want trump to step aside and have Mike Pence step in. I really believe he has no chance now. Absolutely ZERO chance. The last thing I want is Clinton but with trump running I know she will win. Its almost as if he is doing this on purpose. I really wouldn't doubt it. He is pretty much the only opponent that she could beat. She isn't even beating him, he is beating himself.
Anyone change there mind recently and want to jump on the Pence wagon?
