I just don't want Hillary. Trump has apologized for his comments. For this video to come out when it has, shows me that it was a planned attack on his campaign and to provide distraction. What he said was in poor taste, but he's never gotten anyone killed and lied about it. He wasn't under investigation by the FBI, only to get off free. Other people also made deals with the FBI.

I see the entire system as corrupt and all of these things are put on as a sideshow attraction to entertain people and make them talk and debate as if any of it really matters.

Here is Donald Trump's statement about the video.

"Here is my statement.

I’ve never said I’m a perfect person, nor pretended to be someone that I’m not. I’ve said and done things I regret, and the words released today on this more than a decade-old video are one of them. Anyone who knows me, know these words don’t reflect who I am.

I said it, it was wrong, and I apologize.

I’ve travelled the country talking about change for America. But my travels have also changed me. I’ve spent time with grieving mothers who’ve lost their children, laid off workers whose jobs have gone to other countries, and people from all walks of life who just want a better future. I have gotten to know the great people of our country, and I’ve been humbled by the faith they’ve placed in me. I pledge to be a better man tomorrow, and will never, ever let you down.
Let’s be honest. We’re living in the real world. This is nothing more than a distraction from the important issues we are facing today. We are losing our jobs, we are less safe than we were 8 years ago and Washington is broken.
Hillary Clinton, and her kind, have run our country into the ground.

I’ve said some foolish things, but there is a big difference between words and actions. Bill Clinton has actually abused women and Hillary has bullied, attacked, shamed and intimidated his victims. We will discuss this more in the coming days.

See you at the debate on Sunday."

I'll go out in s limb and predict that these Trump Tapes will have absolutely no affect on the election. Most people, at this late point, have already selected their candidate and this revelation will not affect things for Trump. Nor will any Wikileaks revelations affect Hillary either. It's a tight race and maybe an argument can be made for the swing voters pushing it for one or the other, but I'm guessing that the silent undecideds had made up their minds long ago too. I'm not psychic so I can't call the election.Only saying the votes were locked in long ago. We'll find out after Election Day who that locked vote was primarily for.

Is there precedence for a nominee to step down? This close to the election.

From what I read, there is a process, but not enough time. Trump states he will not step down.

You seem to miss a bunch of things. Trump was sued by the Justice Department twice, he got out of it by paying. He paid to get out of bribing an Attorney general. He got out of various other licensing fines and miscellaneous fines by paying (with money from his foundation). He still did the things, though. He was very lucky on the bribing an AG.

He has US and Russian mob ties. He has hired people and not paid them. He has left investors high and dry while he goes and declares bankruptcy.

His behavior with women went at least through 2010. I think you missed that and he was married to Melania then.

He is named in a lawsuit for the rape of a 13 year old girl.

I have missed a few things I haven't typed here.

I would love to see Pence take over the ticket. I don't know how that would work unless Trump resigned.

You do realize this was a private conversation made eleven years ago? I'm not condoning what Trump said, but the same ones condemning him are the same that are for abortion, are for homosexuals in public pride parades displaying open perversion, including men committing sex acts with men for all to see. These are the same that glorify a whore like Kim Kardashian.

In a nation of over three-hundred-million citizens, it's always the few, often from the same family, which we see running for office. That alone should tell you something isn't right and that in all honesty, we really do not have a choice. There's also no left or right and Republican or Democrat no longer means anything.

He committed the Tic Tac antics through at least 2010.

No one is FOR abortion. Some are for choice, some are not.
Why would anyone be against homosexuality? Except homophobes.
I have been to Gay Pride parades, I have not witnessed sex acts there. How many have you been to?
I could care less about Kim Kardashian, but she is a married woman. You call her a whore?

You sound like Trump. In a thread yesterday, showing clips from the hot mic video, a trump supporter was calling the OLTL actress a 'Bimbo'.

All of you need your head examined.

trump was a red herring, he probably sold that video recording to the Clinton campaign himself who else would've had it that long

Or the audio part of that video was made very, very recently. Another possibility I thought about. It's interesting that the sleazeball comments were audio-only.

Anyway, it wouldn't surprise me. Trump has worked very hard to strategically help unlikable Hillary seem likable by comparison.

The video and sound were fine. He can't say 'my mic wasn't working' for this one.

Someone call Sean Hannity! He'll set everyone straight!

What I meant was Trump could have recorded it two days ago with Billy Bush, for all we know.

He definitely said it, there's no question about that. I just wouldn't put it past him to have recorded it with specifically helping Hillary in mind.

No Trump. You're turning this election into a clown show. You can't defend the defenceless. Throwing mud just degrades the debate to a grade school fight. I'm ASHAMED you're the republican nominee for president.

Lots of people are condemning him, not just the pro-choice.
some people have principles and can break from the hive mind of party politics...you dont need to be a liberal to dislike sexism.

are for homosexuals

Oh nuuu..not the homos!!! lol

in public pride parades displaying open perversion, including men committing sex acts with men for all to see.

Committing sex act in public is a sex offense. I think you are suggesting not sex acts but sexually provocative displays. I assume you are also disgusted at spring break showings with the bikini girls and all sorts running around also..or is it just the dudes you flip out about.

These are the same that glorify a whore like Kim Kardashian.

Kim Kardashian is a whore?
..something something bearing false witness..something...I really should study the bible more..but I would rather pick lint out of other peoples belly button..its a rewarding hobby

Doesn't work that way. Pence is not running, Trump is. Pence only becomes president if Trump gets elected and for some reason can't hold office (i.e. ~ incapacitated, dead, impeached & removed, or resigns). If Trump stepped aside prior to election, the RNC would appoint a candidate for the Republican party (probably Ryan or Romney).

So I am a trump guy.(was a trump guy) I do look over some of his antics and what he does. I just chalk it up to don being don. I saw the video and audio of him degrading a woman. I can't stand anyone who belittles a woman to an object. I know the context of the audio was 2 guys joshing around but Just that he said it the way he said it and the fact it was about a married woman I can't accept.

I will not be voting for Clinton. I want trump to step aside and have Mike Pence step in. I really believe he has no chance now. Absolutely ZERO chance. The last thing I want is Clinton but with trump running I know she will win. Its almost as if he is doing this on purpose. I really wouldn't doubt it. He is pretty much the only opponent that she could beat. She isn't even beating him, he is beating himself.

Anyone change there mind recently and want to jump on the Pence wagon?

Trump is the nominee you have to hold your nose and vote for him, he will not be replaced, the alternative of Hillary will be much worse. All these republicans that are saying they won't vote now will change their minds, otherwise you get 4 more years of obamas policies and a president who will put herself up for sale to the highest bidder, american or not.

By the way how did trump do this on purpose, this is a video from 11 years ago he did not even know existed.

This is the media scouring everything they can to take him down. If they tried at all to do the same to Hillary trump would be up by 20 points.

We are on the same page. I was technically a Trump supporter, I have never voted before because I never followed politics enough to make an informed decision, but I have been following this election cycle and planned on getting out and casting a vote for Trump.

Not anymore, after the debate I lost enthusiasm for Trump, and now this recent crap with the married lady, in addition to the alleged pedo $h!t I am out.

What sick F messes with kids? Also you don't mess with another mans wife! That's sacred ground FFS.

People keep trying to say this is regular guy talk but that is horsesheit.

Talking about hot women, sure, but not grabbing chicks who don't want it, and not bragging about trying to get another mans wife to cheat. That is not normal.

It pretty much sucks we're going to end up with one of these two candidates. It looks like we are SOL so I see no point in voting anymore.

The establishment republicans are jumping ship, without Ryan 's support what is there. It's over.

It's a mix bag for me because I wanted the destruction of the Republican Party but what about the Supreme Court . When Hilary picks what is the country going to look like?

It's definitely soberly looking at the reality of a Hilary presidency.

That's my take on it. He's not even taking the next presidential debate seriously, after not preparing at all for the first one. But people forget that he was a registered Democrat from 2001 to 2009 and was gushing over Hillary even in 2012 (starts at the 12:47 mark).

Anyway, you can always vote 3rd party. They always need the votes and support.
