Clinton Touts National Service Agenda

It is so similar. One part triples Americorps, which is full time. Another part gives training and exprcts contribution . They get training and can get a better job. When you are needed, you get a call. Just like the National Guard.


Is there something wrong with this? It would be voluntary. Tell me what is wrong with it.

Why no thank you? Some people can't join the reserves or americorps or get a civil service job- age, childcare concerns, lack of training. Etc.

Explain why.

Ok, do we have a National Service Reserve? No
Do we have a National Guard? Yes
Will this cost the government money? Yes
Will these people work for money? No

Paid what and by whom? Would it be on par with enlistees pay? I surely don't like the idea of yet another new government program.

The Military won't do it. There will need to be an excuse and done while much of the military is off shore making tons of money for the bosses.

Yes, that, but toss in the goody of it being the backbone of a social-engineering program with a dedicated purpose and you may not want a "brown shirt" if you are an individual sort.

Is Obama planning to have a Civilian Security Force in addition to the military?

Even though it may be masked under "service" and "reserve" it sounds like more indoctrination.
