A body associated with the teen who did this was found three miles away.
I'm assuming the boy is in custody. I didn't hear otherwise.

So you are saying there are very real physiological differences between the sexes?

We are not all the same?

Gender is not "fluid?"

Isn't that why we have football?
Seriously though, start another thread. I'm very interested in the whole endocrine approach to controlling health.
I'd be interested in reading some material and hearing ideas on it.

People have no problems blaming hormones when women snap but to hear that conversation it's only women who even have hormones. And it is a feminine problem that we can't seem to control them or their effect on us.
If we can make that conversation about fluids like transmission fluid or break fluid or oil we can help men understand the importance of hormones and performance of the machine.

Testosterone is a hot hormone and can cause violence. Teen hormones are wonkey to start with.
Who knows what triggers incidents like this. Hormones play a role in chemical balances in the brain.

News stated 2 students shot.

Wondering if it is a bully payback or a crazy.

What's the difference?

Sad news though. My heart bleeds for the youth of today. Such mixed messages in these conflicting times, evil deeds and events. No child should have to deal with.

How about a conversation about everyone and mental health, it's a much broader spectrum than just men. I know a few people that work in the mental health field and their clients are pretty evenly split between the sexes. Women do just as many crazy things they just aren't always mass shootings, example (mothers who kill their kids). Also I'm sure plenty of men who apparently to you are inferior beings can handle the situation. But have fun living in your fairy tale land, where women are the only thing that matters and much much better than men in every single way.

Not all people are men but all men are people.
Ok?

Mass shootings are increasing at an almost exponential rate as we get closer to the election. I don't believe in coincidence, and an awful lot of people are starting to 'snap'. I believe the pertinent question is WHY?

It is not "people" it is men 99% of the time.

But no one wants to talk about that because men are too fragile to handle the conversation. They always get way too defensive and start crying about SJW and feminism. blah blah blah.

There needs to be a national conversation about men and mental health.

Men are "too fragile to handle the conversation?" Unlikely. I do think you have appropriately characterized "SJW and feminism" with a "blah blah blah."

Maybe instead of a national conversation we need the mental health institutions re-commissioned. Mainstreaming hasn't seemed to work and people should be protected from those who are mentally unstable.

Not far from home. All I have heard is the shooter is a teenager, no sex to go with that yet, is in custody.

You are right. If I heard a mass shooter was around, I would get an image in my mind. The first part of that would be that it is probably a man.

This is acceptable. In fact, police profile men all of the time, which is good.

Yet for some reason that is the only profile I am allowed to do. If there is a bomb, and I assume it may be a Muslim because that has been the overwhelming majority of terrorist bombs all over the world have been Muslims recently, that is frowned upon?

If police profile young black men in inner cities, that is wrong. Yet we can profile men.

And be careful, women are starting to get inloved in these terrible situations. The san bernadino woman, then there were a group of women I saw somewhere in Europe that just got arrested trying to carry out an attack, and other situations.

But you are right, the vast majority of these mass shootings are men.

The father of the suspected shooter was found dead Wednesday afternoon of a gunshot wound, Anderson County Coroner Greg Shore told reporters. Shore identified the man as Jeffrey Osborne, 47. The house is about 2 miles from the school.

The three victims at the school were struck by bullets from a handgun, Capt. Garland Major of the Anderson County Sheriff's Office said. One male student was hit in a leg and another boy was struck in a foot. The female teacher was wounded in a shoulder, Major said.

www.cnn.com...

Kid shot his/her father.

No mention of deaths so it's not a murder at this time.

I see four things here:

1) a kid with serious mental issues

2) someone will make this about gun-control (even though the shooter is too young to buy one)

3) Kudos to police for bringing shooter in alive

4) We are lucky everyone survived

I thought it was in reference to the school shooting.

As for as father, we don't know if defense or murder. But, yeah, high likelihood of murder for that one given the additional attack.

What conclusion are you really trying to lead people to? Seems to me that you are saying that men are crazy and dangerous, but also pussies. I wonder: do you jump to that conclusion because you're too tuned in to mainstream news, or are all the men in your life unstable? Either way, too bad for you. Cheers.

Edit to add: Since the shooter is a teenager (from early reports) it seems that your flimsy argument is invalid anyhow, unless you regularly refer to teenage males as "men", which would be utterly laughable in itself.

Yes, shooter was 14 and male. Father dead, teacher and one child released from hospital. Other a boy, had surgery this afternoon. Sad no matter the reason why. Oh and first responder volunteer fireman captured the suspect.
