When a civilian airliner suffers an in flight incident the investigation includes -

* - The Country where the aircraft went down. If a plane goes down in international waters the country where the plane departed from is in charge unless they request assistance.
* - The country where the airline headquarters is based.
* - The country the flight originated from.
* - The country where the flight was to land.
* - The country who manufactured the aircraft / headquarters for the company is based.
* - Countries who had nationals on board.

Russia is not involved because nothing about this incident concerns them except as suspects regarding the BUK. It was downed over Ukraine, en route from the Netherlands to Kuala Lumpur. The crew were all Malaysian and the passengers were from Australia, Belgium, Canada, Germany, Indonesia, Malaysia, Netherlands, New Zealand, Philippines and the United Kingdom.

Russia does not understand how Western legal systems work and thats evident in their ridiculous inept demands for info to be released about the incident. That cannot happen in a criminal investigation with 298 fatalities. It couldnt happen if there was only 1 fatality.

As for Russia bitching about their "evidence" not being considered again shows their ineptness with the western legal system. They dont understand that because they have been caught lying numerous times on this topic that any evidence they provide is suspect and can be challenged if used in court proceedings.

I wish I could find a couple articles I saw earlier. One said that Russia didn't hand over their data until two weeks ago. This was after it was announced that the report would be released today. The second said that Russia has yet to hand over the new radar data.

Funny how Russia is complaining that their data want included in the report. There can't be that much if they're expecting it to only take a couple of weeks to thoroughly sift through and process in regards to all the other evidence.

Watched the video. My questions remain. Whete is any evidence? For example that the conversation betweeen the rebels is genuine and not recorded for falcifying evidence by the same people who orchestrated the falce flag? A lot of stories, NO LEGITIMATE EVIDENCE PRESENTED.

Quotes like - the team examined several buk missiles and determined it was this one - How? Where is any evidence at all?

Or several witnesses said this, this and that. Which really ammounts to - ive seen some things and some stuff. What whitnesses? Are they real people or made up? Or recordings manufactured for directly or indirectly framing someone for political purposes?

That's what you don't seem to get. You people don't know, you are left with only a choice to either believe them or not. And there are a lot of reasons not to. The whole event is very dodgy and politicised, and reeks of falce flag.

This not only doesn't prove beyond reasonable doubt, this proves nothing at all! Really, the best this can ammount to is - the Russians did it because the tv told me.

Unfortunately, my impression (from other places not just here) is that the official investigation is flawed because it was not carried out by the Russians, who were the only people capable of carrying out a fair and unbiased investigation.

uhm yeah.. Having Russia involved / investigating would be like having the SS investigate Auschwitz.

Actually this quote is very applicable to Ukraine as one of the suspects.

Jit got most of their info from Ukrania SBU.

Losing? Before the mess, Ukraine voted to have a trade agreement with Russia rather than join the EU, if they have something to gain from this, that's one thing, they don't stand to gain anything from shooting down that plane.

If you want to take part in the discussion please do your research. The Ukrainian people voted on no such thing. They did however vote Yanukovych into office with the expectation he was going to sell closer ties with the EU. He then unilaterally made the decision to instead sell closer tires with Russia, betraying the will of the people. The people then rose up in protest. The parliament, including Yanukovych's own party, voted to impact him because he had lost control. He then fled the country before criminal proceedings could commence because he knew they would find out he had stolen billions of dollars and at best he would spend the rest of his life in prison.

Wrong; parliament voted to accept a trade deal with the EU. Yanukovych refused to ratify it and turned towards Russia. The people rose up and he fled to Russia, in effect abdicating. Russian skinheads fomented riots and burned people alive to justify a Russian invasion. I have no doubt tat MH-17 was shot down by accident, but the impulse to cover it up has put Russia in a difficult position.

President Viktor Yanukovych ordered the suspension of preparations for the pact between Kiev and Brussels after talks between the Russian and Ukrainian prime ministers – and after Yanukovych's party in parliament rejected six bills aimed at meeting the EU's terms.

The sudden switch by Yanukovych following weeks of brinkmanship left European policy towards the post-Soviet states to its east in tatters.

Following talks between the Russian and Ukrainian prime ministers, a government decree curtly suspended preparations for the signing of a trade pact and political association agreement between Ukraine and the EU at a summit next week in Lithuania.

I saw it in a different light.

Russia:

Let me re-word that and chew it over for you. Most of the evidence like phone call recordings was manufactured by Ukraine SBU to frame Russia. That is the suspicion.

I have already said - I know nothing about that phonecall, and will not comment on it. For all I know it could be real or could be fake.

Here we are talking about "irrefutable proof" and "proof beyond reasonable doubt" which we have not seen. Stop derailing.

I know nothing about those recordings, I have already told you 3 times. I (unlike you) will not discuss or form opinions on something I have no knowledge about.

So are you lying now or were you lying when you made this post about me?

So what evidence that was presented are you not agreeing with? As has been pointed out the evidence goes beyond the audio clip I posted that you are fixated on.
