So the US police are killing black people
It's hard to talk with people like you because you believe in myths. Facts are not found in your claims. Black men are RARELY killed by cops. White people are killed more by cops and you actually have a batter chance of being shot by a cop if you're white. Also, black men )6% of the population) commit more than half of the violent crime in this country. These are facts you ignore in place of racial paranoia and scapegoating of whites. What's that make you?
If you read this because the title bothered you, you should look into yourself. If you're planning to respond in a bothered tone, look at yourself a bit..
Right back at you.
Well if you have 800 pieces of regular crayon, and only about 88 pieces of 'other' crayon. If 60 of the regular pieces get shot, and 30 of the 'other' pieces get shot, which is more likely to get shot? I like talking to people like you though.
would you be kind enough to provide a source for this graphic?
www.theguardian.com...
Why did you just post the graph and leave out all of the important stuff that explains the higher number?
From your source:
More than 21% of deadly incidents began with a complaint to police alleging domestic violence or some other domestic disturbance. About 16% arose from officers attempting to arrest a wanted person, execute a warrant or apprehend a fugitive. Another 14% of killings followed an attempted traffic or street stop, 13% came after someone committed a violent crime and 7% after a non-violent crime.
In addition to those killed after opening fire, 160 people were accused of refusing commands to drop a weapon. Another 157 were said to have pointed or levelled a gun or non-lethal gun at officers. Police alleged that 158 people killed had “charged”, advanced at or fought with officers. And while 79 people were killed after allegedly “reaching for their waistband” or grabbing for a weapon, 44 attacked officers, some with knives and blades.
“It would appear that police officers are often confronting people who are armed, non-compliant and threatening,” said David Klinger an associate professor of criminology at the University of Missouri-St Louis.
About 25% of the African Americans killed were unarmed, compared with 17% of white people

If you say to me, you're much more likely to be killed while white than black and I show you a graph which suggests that blacks are killed at about 2x the rate then i've answered you. However please, from that "Important information" decipher the races which they speak of on each level. Is the 13% purely black persons? :/
Wouldn't this be more relevant to the topic at hand?

How about complying when a police officer tells you to stop or do something?
It doesn't take a genius to figure out to do what your told and go home safe versus being belligerent and getting your ass handed to you?
As far as stats to argue with you after you were caught in a statistical lie, there are many FBI stats already posted on ATS.
Look them up!
That is if you are interested in facts instead of emotions.
Your Right of Defense Against Unlawful Arrest. “Citizens may resist unlawful arrest to the point of taking an arresting officer's life if necessary.” Plummer v. State, 136 Ind. 306. This premise was upheld by the Supreme Court of the United States in the case: John Bad Elk v. U.S., 177 U.S. 529.

Yeah, the race of man is in a mess. Sadly, we have to deal with internal conflicts often the result of alleged "well meaning" people who look down their nose at people from a different walk of life than their own to the degree that they feel there's no way that different walk can possibly succeed without help. You're not superior to people of color. They do not need your pity and your help to succeed in life any more than anyone else does. Again, it's insulting and something society has worked to move past.

So I wonder what what deep psychological and genetic scars we European descendents have from the depredations of the North Africans and the Middle Eastern slavers? They enslaved many of European descent.

Yes they do commit alot of crimes, I'm afraid of black people from time to time. My own people, But they didn't just wake up one day and decide to kill each other. Just pointing out a few reasons they might be this way.

The only expectation I have of anyone is to treat me as a human regardless of my skin color, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, hair color, eye color, height, weight, age, etc, same as I do everyone else.
You're far from an object to me.
I am white skinned with freckles, genetically male, identify as female, bisexual, have dark reddish brown hair, dark dark brown eyes, am 5'4 or 5'3 depending on time of day, currently am overweight close to 200 lbs will not say on which side I fall, and am 37 years old, but more than all these things I am human and so are you.
We're the same, both human, period end of story. I will never accept you as a member of the "black race" I will never accept being qualified as a member of the "white race" these are only skin colors to me about as relevant to me as my dark dark brown eyes. If you choose to identify yourself as such that is on you, and you alone. I will not play the race game. I will also never accept guilt for the actions of another that I had no ability to control or stop.
If that makes me "racist" to you, then so be it.

I didn't realize you, yourself, are identifying as black. You're part of the problem in that capacity as an internal enabler. Please know that many white Americans have higher hopes and more faith in the African American community and believe those among you who don't fall into the traps set by enabling devils have no ceiling on their achievements and potentials.
