While we have the assets to detect the cruise missiles, is it possible we'd allow the hit to give us leverage against Russia for the next few years and substantiate our claims of Russia being an aggressor to the west?

I understand this is all speculation at the moment, just food for thought as things unfold.

I've been waiting 2 or 3 days for this thread to be posted.
Israeli Intelligence debunked this with in 4 minutes of Sputnik Arabic posting the story.
It was only posted in Arabic, not English or any other language.
All related stories are based on the poorly translated Arabic version.

Buck, the Jew

Sorry, but it's too late for you.

You and I both know that the Seventy Nations in Syria right now, are actually coming for Jew.

Haha who knows what the troll meant with a one word post with no explanation. Maybe we should stop feeding the troll.

It'd be a lie though.

Russia would not be the aggressor. Syria invited them to help with their terrorist insurrection.

Syria has given no permission to America, Saudi Arabia, Israel or the UK to send ground personnel to Syria.

Technically that'd be an invasion of their country. They'd have every right to take whatever measures they thought were necessary against them.

Propaganda media won't tell the story that way though

Me and butcherguy were just offering discussion, I think we were both polite. I even provided an article showing its no secret US advisors are present.

Exactly my friend.

I've spent more than 20 years of my adult life in that part of the world.
They have no idea how things work in the real world.
The only thing that matters here, is snappy comebacks and responses in threads.

Buck

I went on Herrick 8 and 15 - a year in that sh1t hole was enough for me. Dunno how you do 20...do you like goats now?

You're right. I wouldn't be surprised if this has something to do with the IMF.

Remember our failed rally against Venezuela, they left the IMF in 2007.

Part of our new war cry against Russia is their fight against the IMF and their participation in forming BRICKS, the planned opposition.

Yeah on the speculation front, but in the UK, you dont spend 10 years+ training a top recruit to be a potential media fodder for aggression. Its easier to hit a UN column of a MSF hospital. You dont kill your own troops.

Ya I've looked. Saw reports from both camps. Both tell a different tale. I take a stance on this conflict based on years of how the west operates. I don't think I have to list the long line of destroyed countries by the west do I? You know if the west after performing a campaign of destruction and regime change actually had a plan of following through with stability, then I might have a different perspective. However, everything the west has regime changed is a steamy pile of s@@t now.

I've been digging, from what I've seen there are a few outlets running this story. While many seem to be running the same version I found one that stuck out to me.

The Israeli government did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
source

Granted not immediately responding could mean nothing or everything. I do not know this source or how trustworthy they are.

Although not purportedly any major player[COUGH] the silence
from Tel Aviv means the plan is going according to their local
agenda too.
If memory serves, Sharon said right after the BIG 9/11 that it
was really good for Israel. As if...

Then take a look at the supposedly debunked, and almost
idiotically followed and fulfilled Protocols... flame away, but
I'm pretty sure you can't argue with the results when deter-
minig cause and the perps.

The sum of all MY fears is some maniac thinking he can make
it through the other side of a shooting war with ALL the toys
there are now.
I said this two years ago with another, slightly older guy...
Keep your stopwatch wound up. Because if Russia and/or
China is visibly involved there, and Aleppo falls... hit
the big button, because another one's going to get hit soon.

Thanks for the heads-up TA. Flag, star, and hopefully a
prop to get the heat off some other op. But I doubt it.
Proxy doesn't necessarily mean invulnerable... like a lot
of others, I hope this story is wrong.

I can't see, if this is true, how taking out a command and control center full of coalition officers is "being careful not to engage its assets directly."

Russia has an airbase inside Syria wreaking havoc on the insurgents. If US wanted to directly affect the outcome it could just bomb that to dust, but they won't. That what I meant. Neither, as far as I know, hear reports of Russian and US fighter aircraft engaging each other over Syria. Not even by accident?

They kept that stuff in Vietnam secret from the American public during the entire conflict.

Try again... it was started by Putler...

What was started? Syria and Russia are allies.

Next you'll be telling us Russians are pretending to be US troops to help make Assad go...

And there you go again. Your inability to get passed your disdain for Putin does not allow you to see the true cost of the west's foreign policy. That cost is measured in hundreds of thousands if not millions of lives. I harbour no love for Putin or any of our scumbag politicians but at least I can admit our foreign policy is flawed. Can you see it?

yeah it doesnt change the fact putler is dangerous and still thinks its the 1980's and that he is in charge of the ussr.
