If the Democrat party isn't racist then explain why it is they've haven't dismantled the War On Drugs yet.

I don't believe there is any political party that is racist, or who's principles are based on racism. Only individuals within the parties are racist. That goes for both Dems, Reps or whatever party you can think of.

If BLM is legit then explain why it is they haven't made this their focal point.

So they are not legit, nor the issues they choose to highlight, because they do not focus on an issue that you personally think they should?

I don't think you understand.. The issue BLM focuses on is a statistical fantasy. The issue IgnoranceisntBliss brought up is not just a personal issue, but a factual issue facing their community. What would better help Blm's cause, working on factual issues, or made up, miss-perceived issues?

It doesn't matter if it's fantasy or not. Perhaps we should have engaged BLM in a conversation a long time ago instead of dismissing it and fueling people's anger.

People have tried to engage them to no avail. You yourself no longer support BLM. Get off your high horse and go engage them, and let us know how it goes.

It is a shame American journalists don't have the courage to call out BLM for what it is - a violen, racist, supremacist, terrorist movement.

Canadian college student and journalist Lauren Southern doing the job Anerican's won't do.

Oh do show everyone their sweeping end all addressing of the matter. It had so much sizzle they never need to do an interview in response to even the most heinous of atrocities, right?

Why are they forced to respond to things that they had nothing to do with? To satisfy your PC version of social justice?

It's a waste of time trying to deal with such apologists for tyrannical governments, totalitarianism, mass murder, and race hate atrocities.

A great example of why some people do not respond to accusations. Why respond to such laughable accusations? It's hard to have a logical conversation when people have a knack of being overly dramatic.

But go ahead and get the last word. Last word = you "WIN", right?

I didn't know this was a contest. Why would you even think about such a childish thing?

Another member that misses the point. This is about a national discussion. When that takes place and some progress is made, perhaps people will calm down a bit.

But no. Both sides of this debate will fuel the fire and ignorance will prevail.

Quick question:

Has it been proven that BLM had anything to do with what happened in the video?

Didn't get through the whole thread so don't know if this has been mentioned....

I am not sure if these people announced they were BLM, but I did see oc CNN last night that many of the stores that were looted had Black Lives Matter spay painted on them.

Yes, they held a sign somewhere in Charlotte riots, so they own it.
BLM are hunting whites for sport.
That victim could have been easily paralyzed for life or killed by them sick bastards. That victim could have shot every one of them and it would have been justified, for fear of his life.

They definitely didn't discourage them from doing it. You haven't been paying attention to social media for the past few months have you?

It's time for people to get off the fence about this. America is heading down a dark path, do you really want future generations to grow up in a country like this?

Here we go.

So someone destroying property and yelling black lives matter doesn't make them BLM.

But I bet if someone was handing out food to the poor saying black lives matter, or was getting invited to the White house saying Black Lives matter, you would say these are the real BLM.

You define everything and nothing as BLM. I can do the same with any group.

Show me any example of the KKK attacking blacks post David Duke. Once you do, I will say, Oh no Duke condemned violence, so those people were not real KKK members.

Not condoning this or violence but I'm interested in seeing what led up to the incident...wouldn't want the facts to get in the way of some edited video...

Looks like a parking garage; here's a thought, maybe he was trying to get in his car after working all day. Unbelievable, there is absolutely no justification for this. If this keeps up I fear things are going to get a hella ugly soon!

As a 2nd amendment supporter, I am disturbed by how many of you are so quick to mention shooting these people. I understand the right to defend ourselves, but this obsession is weird.

So they didn't tell these people to act out violently, and that is evidence that they support the violence? Well, that crappy logic.

You haven't been paying attention to social media for the past few months have you?

No. I don't pay attention to social media.

It's amusing some suggest you have to be a card carrying member of BLM to tie this stuff to BLM.

BLM isn't some club to apply to join, then get a pin or a hat or some such nonsense. It's an ideology. It's segment within the population who share an ideology.

As a 2nd amendment supporter, I'm waiting for the day when these thugs try to pull this on someone with a CCW during another one of their riots... and see what happens when a person exercises their right to defend themselves.

They are yelling the idea and belief that black lives matter. They are not yelling it because they are a part of the official organization.

That would be like some nut shooting up a public place and yelling "NRA".

But I bet if someone was handing out food to the poor saying black lives matter, or was getting invited to the White house saying Black Lives matter, you would say these are the real BLM.

If they were officially representing BLM, of course they would be the real BLM. Are the people in the streets doing stupid # officially representing the group, or are they representing the idea that black lives matter?

Show me any example of the KKK attacking blacks post David Duke. Once you do, I will say, Oh no Duke condemned violence, so those people were not real KKK members.

That doesn't make much sense.

So now yelling a political protest organization name isn't to be associated with them.

Pat yourself on the back. All of your kind of perpetual BLIND apologism has lead to all of this, and right now this OP video was the best thing that could have ever happened to KKK and their ilk.

Frankly you probably would have been too smart to be in that position to begin with.
