Very presidential that Trump can't handle a normal debate with moderators. It'll be "totally unfair" says the man-child. Someone get this guy a blankie... He needs a safe space.

THAT is why he is the first Presidential candidate to express that he would like [there] to be no Moderator..

No, he stated explicitly why he wanted no moderator. I'm not sure how you can decide that he is lying about that, but at the same time telling the truth about what he wants in regards to moderation. How do you choose which is truth and which is lie?

While it's okay to give a toddler choices and let him choose, sometimes it's important to also let him know when he does not have a choice. In this case you would get down on his level and ask him very clearly, "Do you want to be President?" and when he says "Yes! Want President!" then you say, "Okay, well you can't be President unless you first debate WITH moderators. Do you understand?"

And expect screaming, expect tears, and tweets, and name calling.. that's all part of his development, but eventually you will see him accept this.

That's another good way to avoid Trump's arguments, but it seems like something a toddler would do.

No, it's important to listen to his concerns, let him know he's heard, but EXPLAIN to him this is how WE do this. Explain to the man-child that all the debates have moderators. Tell him "Those are the rules." And eventually with consistent guidance, the little guy will learn and become better for it.

That's ironic, especially since that man-child has outperformed everything you or I have ever accomplished. I guess that puts you at zygote or fetus level.

We're talking mental development and learning... He's unfortunately far behind both you and I. And he's got some very stubborn mental blocks that keep him from progressing to non-man-child standards... but like I said, with a little help, he may one day be a little better. Probably never a full man, due to his stunted growth, and mental disorders... but certainly capable of being better. Positive encouragement is important, which he knows. We see this often in how he compliments himself and points out his proud accomplishments. He just needs some work still.

Maybe, if we dim the lights, so the moderators aren't so visible, and maybe if Trump's mommy can walk him in, and introduce him to the moderators... and I would suggest the moderators each give him some kind of treat or present for a positive association. Maybe it'll be okay... We just need to create a very SAFE SPACE for this frightened little snowflake.

I hate to say it, but he may not be ready for this. This might be too advanced for him.

So you've read into a conversation of Trump saying what he thinks as a call for a debate with no moderators? Is he making this call to officials? Is the call made to MSNBC? is he making the call to whom?

Trump was having a conversation on MSNBC or a interview? How do you know what Trump means about anything when he changes his view on almost everything?

Hillary supporters should pray the debate doesn't happen.

She can't even last more than 10 minutes for a press interview.
She'll never survive a 90 minute debate, with all of that stimuli (and without those blue specs), without having a major PD freeze.

There's actually a very smart reason Trump doesn't want a moderator. For starters, most MSM has a pretty liberal bent, so right out of the gate, there's bias. Next, without a moderator to provide a break to it, the chances of him tripping her into a full on short-circuit greatly increases. You think he and his people aren't aware of Hillary's true condition?

When she blows her gasket during a live debate, it'll be all she wrote.

If I were Hillary's people, I'd be scrambling to make sure the "debate" is really just a small, dimly lit room with her, Donald, and a nice biased MSM reporter, asking questions that only Hillary knows ahead of time. I'd also insist on a 5 second delay vs. totally live.

Otherwise, she's finished.

Sure, it all sounds like conspiracy theory stuff right now....but let's wait and see, shall we?

I for one, do not measure my accomplishments in life by the size of my fortune, nor by name recognition or fame.

Please...speak for yourself whilst subjugating your life's accomplishment's to the man child Trump.

His purported "successes" are proudly built upon his moral failures and his moral failures would not have carried him this far if he wasn't born excessively advantaged.

I see nothing there to admire or aspire to. He is a fraud in all ways that are important to me.

Personally I think Clinton will destroy Trump so bad in the first debate there won't be any others. Look how easy it is for her to piss him off without really trying. She has so much experience with the far right and there politically motivated investigations. You all remember when Obama was at fault for Benghazi, oh that didn't work so they use it against her....how has all that worked out for you?

Some people call it "flip-flopping", as if being flexible was a bad thing, but they are surreptitiously advocating absolutism in doing so. Trump is running a campaign, and a requirement of that is employing rhetoric in order to win.

You might if you had some. Don't knock it until you try it.

That sounds suspiciously like envy. Moral failures—fundamentalists condemn others they have never met on similar grounds. Speak for yourself.

Yes...like when he bragged about meeting Putin and getting along great with him...only to angrily tell the press he has never met the guy! a couple of months later...

People are such absolutists for expecting him to be consistent in his lies..

Where did I say I did not have the same? I said I do not measure my success by it.

His moral failures are public record, often by his own design. No need to meet the fraud. I am not the "envy" type...take that for what you will.

Where did he say he met Putin, and that he got along great with him?

Sure it is?
It was Trump's view that lying about meeting Putin and getting along great with him would create an image of prestige for the GOB Debate audience.

And then when the press, public and former military and intelligence officials questioned his repeated praise of Putin, it became his view that lie would no longer serve him so he declared he had never met him.

Trumps "views" are simply what serves him best in the moment...And flip-flopping or outright lying is simply a means to self-serving impulse. ..>There is no "there there"...perhaps that is what you fail to recognize?
