No. It would take a national emergency such as another terrorist attack on the scale of 9/11 or a disaster such as another Hurricane Katrina or huge earthquake.

If I'm not mistaken, Hillary's first real debate with Mr. Trump is on the 26, and Julian Assange has said he's got damaging info that will be released prior to that time. This has turned out to be a really bumpy campaign for Hillary and I have to wonder if she's going to make it to November 8th. She will either have a total collapse and be forced to drop out by her doctors and family, or she will voluntarily withdraw.

And if she does that, what will happen to the election? Perhaps Obama could suspend it at that point, I don't know. As far as I know this never happened in the history of this country.

I don't think Tim Kaine's position means anything at the moment. He is just a selected person for VP IF Hillary wins the Presidency. Is he in any way eligible to replace her as the nominee? I don't know.

It;s crazy how you go online and EVERYONE sees this for what it is, but if you turn on any media "news" station, they're running cover big time.

Normally, the replacement would be the person that receives the 2nd most delegates during the nomination. That would seem to point to Bernie Sanders, but I don't know if the Hillary delegates are given the chance to cast their vote for someone else if she were to drop out.

Can Bill Clinton be a candidate? he can have Monica as vice, as a vice's vice...

Or maybe it's building up an excuse incase she doesn't do well in the first debate. If she does badly it will be because she is just getting over pneumonia and didn't have time to fully prepare. If she does do well then the headline will be that she did well despite the pneumonia ... just wait till the next one.

All the eyewitness statements would have been dismissed, and we would have been subjected to the usual 'prove it or nothing happened' posts. So glad it was caught on video.

I read somewhere else or maybe here that they have to continue the election/rescheduled since Obama can't pass his term limit time. Not sure if its true but is that considered a national emergency? If the other drops out or is too sick to attend she is forced to forfeit is that really an emergency?
