How is everyone today?
Starting to get cooler every day here.
Really foggy out right now. I hate Canadian winters....so not looking forward to it.

Skid, you had asked what I did yesterday. I ended up going out with my friend for lunch and grocery shopping. We usually go out on Tuesdays, but I have my Appointment today. Glad you are having so much fun with your game site.

Hi Mac! Our weather had turned really chilly, but then back to warmish. When I go out these days, I bring a sweater just in case.

Sorry I didn't reply sooner... I've been mulling over your experiences!

The HUGELY most significant part of the encounter for me is.....
The Black Pin-Prick Stars against sepia skies.
Why?
Because that demonstrates that what you were witnessing was "light-inverted" (like a Black=Hot Infrared camera image).
If the stars looked black, then the LIGHT looked black, (because what we see as stars & planets in the night sky is simply reflected or emitted LIGHT).

Now... by extension - the strange blob & figure must have been LIGHT as they were the same colour as the stars (in this "altered" state). The iridescent quality that you ascribe to the figure would seem to back this up too?

Many spirits or energies are described as "Beings of Light" and I think that you've had a glimpse of one via this altered state following your meditation, it's just that it looked black in the light-inverted circumstances?

PS - They would normally be able to go about their business without being noticed by us.... so you probably threw it a complete curve-ball when it realised that you could see it!!! I bet it got quite a fright!!

Ack! I wander off for a couple of weeks and you open a new Shed and are now 120-odd pages into it!

Obviously I am not going to catch up on everything that's been posted, but it's been great to at least "flip through" the pages of this thread and see old names and new here. I've missed you all, and hope to be able to spend a little more time here once my "real life" situation is a bit less hectic.

Really fascinating stuff, BASSPLYR. Wow. Mind is spinning on the possibilities, but it's probably a lot easier for me to sit here and ponder it clinically; I'm sure the experience was somewhat more...visceral.

Very interesting ideas on light. Makes me think of a theory I read once that dealt with black holes. The hypothesis was that a black hole punctured through to another dimension or reality where it becomes, essentially, the exact opposite of a black hole - a white hole. Instead of attracting everything, it repels everything. The theory was that the big bang may have in fact been the output of a white hole. Kind of mind bending, actually...

Gordi, very interesting reading about light! I think he was able to see things being in an altered state as well.

JustMike, sooooo good to finally see you! You know how we worry in here. Replied to your PM. Yes, my fellow Sheddites keep me on my toes opening new Sheds all the time. Isn't it wonderful? And yes, some of our old members have returned 'home'. I knew they would eventually. Well, I was pretty sure they would, I mean, who can't stay away from the Shed forever, right? HUGS!!

Nice idea.

The Big Bang is a "White Hole" that's just punched through.
Maybe it punches through when a Black Hole in the next dimension reaches critical mass and collapses in on itself?

Expand-Contract-Expand-Contract-Expand Endless cycles... I like it.

Ok, health up-date. Small spot somewhere that doesn't look cancerous and Doc will keep an eye on that for any possible changes. Bladder dropping a little, stone, I think he said behind the kidney. Will have another test to keep an eye on the size and if I want they can laser blast it or something. Haven't had any pain and the test today was a piece of cake with no pain at all. Whew!!! So for now, it looks like I'm going to live a while longer and you are all stuck with me. Deal with it! LOL

Hi Skid,

not doing too badly from our side of it. My wife has some good days, but most importantly, not many bad ones. And she's taken up playing tunes on our electronic keyboard. Really seems to help her focus mentally. I'm keeping well. Need to have my gall bladder op before too long, but otherwise I'm doing fine.

I'm glad you're both doing well. I hope she has more good days than bad. What is that, musical therapy? I'm glad you found something that works. I don't remember asking but have you also tried coloring books and paint by numbers things?
